The hotel was exceptional with regards to facilities and location. Very clean and comfortable rooms. The two areas which let down our overall experience were: 1. When we arrived (after 21:00) there were no real options for dinner at the hotel. We ended up having a sandwich at the bar downstairs. 2. An incident concerning the lack of prior notice re access to Mrs Mather’s room. I raised a complaint with the night manager and my concerns were not addressed to my satisfaction nor was there any real acknowledgment of my concerns.

Had a fabulous four night break at this lovely hotel. Staff are amazing and so helpful. Our superior room was stunning with a fabulous view looking across to Valletta. Highly recommend this hotel to anyone wishing for something special in Sliema. The rooftop pool was perfect after a day out sightseeing. The Asian restaurant in the hotel was fantastic. Food was fabulous. Great choice of food at breakfast. Wish we’d been staying longer.

Our stay at AX The Palace was simply excellent. The facilities are outstanding and the views from the roof top pool are stunning. We ate half board at the Tabloid buffet restaurant throughout our stay and the choice on offer was fantastic. One great plus point is that if you opt for the half board option via Hotels.com, then wine, beer and water are included with your meal, making this a very cost effective option. I highly recommend a stay at AX The Palace and would not hesitate to stay here again on a return trip to Malta.

I’ve never stayed in a hotel where every single member of staff were so friendly helpful and attentive. In particular our lovely waiter that served us each morning for breakfast. I think his name was justin. I would highly recommend this hotel. It was spotlessly clean.

Dejligt hotel, med sublim placering. Midt i det hele så kort gåafstand uanset hvor du vil hen. Hotellet gode til at forklare vej. Eneste minus er måske liggestolene, som man skulle kigge noget efter. I skyggen var de altid taget.

The hotel is fancy. Upon arrival I was greeted and given complimentary beverages between alcoholic and non-alcoholic (tasty cola made in Malta) and I had a sit in the large ornate lobby. My flight arrived early and my hotel check in was much later, so the reception staff kindly offered to store my bags and discussed all their facilities and services offered including the hotel restaurant’s various dining theme nights, spa and their upstairs pool bar. The reception directed me to their extremely helpful concierge who provided me an in-depth guide of the island, activities and they also booked my first guided boat tour. My room was massive and came with complimentary Imqaret, room service was great, the bed was very comfortable, and the balcony overlooked the beautiful ocean view. Below just a 2 minute walk from the hotel there’s a bakery “Bakery Shop” next to “Juniper and Malt” that makes a variety of delicious ftira sandwiches, also it’s next to a Lidl. I highly recommend this hotel to relax and explore as all the hotel staff were amazing and helpful and the location is so convenient. Thank you again to the AX the Palace staff, you were wonderful!

Das Hotel ist uneingeschränkt zu empfehlen. Das Personal ist sehr aufmerksam und höflich. Sehr guter Service. Die Zimmer sind etwas in die Jahre gekommen, aber sehr gerämig und sauber. Großes Lob an den Zimmerservice.

Hotel bello ma un po’ datato pensavo fosse più nuovo presenza della moquette nei corridoi delle camere per fortuna nella nostra camera era assente. Bella la piscina sul piano più alto e ottima la colazione
