We had a lovely stay in hotel ax the palace, the staff was very helpful, very friendly and always ready to assist us with any questions that we have. On our 2nd day it was my birthday and at the breakfast they surprised me to sing for me and even had a cake. After that we also found a personalized letter fron the staff that we on their behalf could drink a cocktail on my birthday. The breakfast was also excellent with everything that you need to start your day good. The room was spacious and very clean. I highly recommend this hotel, it was above my expectations! I only can say to the whole staff a very big thank you and keep up the good work cuz they made our vacation fabulous. I will definitely come back!

Dock måsyr arbetaren i inomhuspool-området sluta stirra och vara kontrollerande, vilket nästan var obehagligt. Utomhuspool området mycket bra men kan vara något renare pool. Fin service vid ankomst och även vid hemresa. Hjälp med bagage och allt annat. Stort rum! (Familjerrum) Och bra frukost. Läget bra, och tillräckligt nära bekvämligheter. Lidl 50 m ifrån, //jesöer

The rooms were clean, comfortable and very quiet. The staff went above and were very helpful. The breakfast and evening had a variety to choose from and something for everyone’s taste. The indoor pool was very relaxing and quiet.

Good location with the ferry to Valletta only a 5-10 minute walk away. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Great variety for breakfast. Would recommend

The welcome bottle of wine and pleasant/helpful staff were much appreciated. The cleaning staff needs work and the property should have ‘do not disturb & make up the room’ sign/s for the maid staff. They don’t seem to know what is needed for obvious reasons. The room service & food were excellent and the balcony view of Valletta was sublime.

We stayed at AX The Palace for a week with 2 children in a family room, which was quite big, with a huge bed for the parents and a sofa bed for the kids. Breakfast was excellent with everything you can think of (from cereals to cooked English breakfast, from vegetables and plenty of salads to fruit and desserts). The indoor swimming pool was a great addition, and we used it daily especially in the afternoons, after exploring Malta during the day. The outdoor pool was a bit chilly for April, but in the summer it must be amazing. As we booked half board we also had 7 dinners. Although the food was great, it felt a bit repetitive on some days. The staff were all fantastic, very helpful and attentive. Location of the hotel is also amazing - in the heart of Sliema, minutes walk from the Valletta ferry and plenty of cafes and restaurant around as well. We used the indoor swimming pool daily in the afternoons, after exploring Malta during the day. The outdoor pool was bigger but it was a bit chilly for us to make use of it on most days. We are sure it's amazing in the summer!

Room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast offered a good range. Staff went above and beyond, friendly, helpful and welcoming.

Everything was spot on. An extra bonus for the rooftop pool and TempAsian restaurant inside the hotel.

War wieder gut, allerdings waren ein paar lästige Dinge auch dabei: beim Frühstück war permanent die Balkontüre offen und es hat extrem gezogen. Mittagsschlaf für das Kind war unmöglich weil die Reinigungskräfte in den Nebenzimmern und über uns so laut waren, als wären sie in unserem Zimmer gestanden.

Check in was great. Family room was massive it was like a Presidential Suite. No toiletries in bathroom, I would expect it to be there. On certain days no on picks up the phone eg reception, housekeeping which was frustrating. Room A/C doesn’t work properly, hair dryer and bathroom tub drain doesn’t work, disappointed. Breakfast was excellent, great selection of full English and continental, juices was poor it was watered down. Breakfast staff was good. Indoor pool was fantastic along with the steam/sauna. Hotel was indeed a palace, very spacious and very close to ferry terminal 8-10min walk. I would not rate this as a 5 star premium hotel. It’s lacking in some areas. But a very good stay although.

Very clean and warm rooms, lovely views from the top floors, excellent breakfast and evening dining, friendly and helpful staff. Well done!

Short 3 night break in Sliema with my daughter. Wonderful hotel, great location. Staff very friendly and helpful. Was upgraded to a junior suite, with an amazing balcony and views. Fantastic choice for breakfast. Coffe and cake in the bar area soooo good. Definitely recommend and will return.
