The staff were friendly but not attentive they gave us a room that was already occupied then the first room was really unsuitable as it was dirty and smelly eventually the room we stayed in was much better but not amazing as it was right at the end of the longest corridor and where the store rooms were so we kept hearing very loud door slams throughout the early morning and during the night too. The breakfast was okay but very crowded we had to wait in a queue sometimes for over 20 minutes. Location was okay but not the best as the taxi’s sometimes got confused where to pick up or drop us. So we will be avoiding Intercontinental hotels in the future.

Air conditioning wasn’t working well. Also the bed are small for a couple

Nice hotel with everything you need and location

Kamers zijn prima maar gedateerd. Algehele look van het hotel is gewoon gedateerd. Voorzieningen zijn prima grote gym en prima zwembad etc. Ontbijt niet heel gevarieerd en kamers gangen zijn duidelijk toe aan een renovatie of opfrisbeurt.

Struttura straordinaria, l’area Club è qualcosa di davvero unico

Old facility, non comfortable mattresses , non enough relax areas, overcrowded indoor swimming pool, lack of pedicure/manicure services in spa. But very good breakfast, attentive personal, especially host lady Tamari in the breakfast area who is care a lot about hotel guests and creates positive attitude for the beginning of the day

We spent the first week in October at the IHG Continental Malta. We booked last minute and chose this hotel because we had stayed in the IHG Barcelona which was a fantastic hotel. The IHG Malta is a five star hotel but could do with updating in places, its beginning to look worn. The Club Lounge has limited times something which is different from other IHG's. Other than that I have nothing but praise for all of the staff, they are friendly, approachable and most of all helpful. I would like to give a special mention to Njambi in the Cub Lounge. She was a fountain of knowledge and we based our daily trips on the information she gave us about different parts of the island and also Gozo. Be warned this hotel is in the middle of a very noisy area of St Julians, noisy pubs, clubs and party goers, if you like your surroundings quiet this is not the place for you.

Cet hôtel ne correspond pas niveau des 5 étoiles dont nous avons l'habitude en France. Il se situe dans le quartier des boites de nuit (ouvertes jusqu'à 5 heures du matin) ce qui amènent une clientèle de jeunes fêtards dont la gente féminines peu vêtues et très vulgaires arpentent le hall tout le week-end. C'est dommage, on s'attend dans ce genre d'hôtel à un peu de distinction
