Hotel tequila is very good and comfortable. We only stayed there one nite and it was great. We did not eat there as we took an uber to downtown puerto Morelos. Very convenient close to airport and all we could ask for on a budget. We would go back

Stayed there because of the proximity to the airport. Ended up staying my last night there too. Amazing home cooked food! Beautiful location and pool. On the main road, but walled in so the traffic doesn't bother you. Room was well set up and clean. Mariano is an amazing host, just be prepared with some Spanish! Thanks again and I will definitely stay here again!!

Nothing fancy but the rooms are spotless and the beds are comfortable and the bedding is also nice. It's right on the highway and I'm a light sleeper but there's very little noise after 10pm. Food choices are limited but what they serve is exceptionally good at a very reasonable price. They do have limited drinks available as well (no wine). The staff is absolutely fantastic and the service is amazing. The place is about 10-15 min to Puerto Morelos which is a lovely town with a gorgeous beach right downtown. When I asked about the best way to get there they said they offer a shuttle which was free although tips are always gratefully appreciated. They dropped us off and asked what time we wanted to come back. We said 5:00 and they pulled up right at 5:01 with a big smile. You may not want to spend weeks here as there is nothing at all that you can walk to however a great place very close to the airport for when you arrive and when you depart. They also offer a shuttle to the airport as well. It really is a unique place and the staff make it even better. They even whistled and called all the spider monkeys for us to see. which came swinging throught the trees, babies and all.
For the price I would highly recommend this place

I was really disappointed with our stay at hotel tequila. We stayed there 3 years ago and it was lovely.
When we arrived it took us banging at the wooden gate and calling the hotel 3 times before some came opened the gate so our cab driver could drop us off.
The room was clean, but the bed was very uncomfortable.
We paid for breakfast, but there was nothing that my husband would eat. He asked if they just had some toast and maybe some sausage that wasnt mixed with the egg, and said yes but it would be extra.
The pool and the grounds were very unkempt.
I will be choosing another location next time im traveling to cancun

Lækker autentisk morgenmad. Vi manglede håndklæder på det ene værelse, men det gik da vi kun havde en overnatning. Wifi var godt så længe vi havde det, for pludselig forsvandt strømmen og wifi og vandet også, så vi kunne ikke trække ud. Men ellers søde mennesker med god service. De tilbød os gratis transfer til lufthavnen efter endt ophold.

Hotel Tequila is definitely a cute and quaint place with some charming decorations but the bed bugs were a huge turnoff for us. The staff tried to be accommodating by moving us to a different room, but there were bed bugs there too. We left immediately and stayed at a newer hotel near the airport.
This was disappointing because the location was close to the Xochimilco show where we were going that night and it was terribly inconvenient to move after we had settled in.
I tried reaching out to inquire about a refund but didn't want to be distracted and upset before the show. Supposedly someone was going to look into it but I didn't get any of my money back.
I won't be going back there and will definitely double-check the beds in places like that.

Overall, great experience rooms were clean, necessary items. E were three females with one king and two twin beds we could’ve used a mini fridge and Hair blow dryer more shampoo and a scale to weigh our luggage. The airport. Transportation is a plus and a bonus. Great choice breakfast included was OK. Will stay again

The room was great. Tv needs American channels especially if they are part of the tourist area. Nobody really speaks English so it was hard to translate. The lights were off half the day with no WiFi and no phone services. The WiFi wasn’t as strong.

It was a very bad experience in this hotel. I did not complete my first night. I had to move to another hotel and pay twice for two different hotels and they did not return my money that I paid them. There are no workers in this hotel except a man who seems like a cleaner who does not speak English. There is no Wi-Fi in the hotel. There is no lobby. The hotel area is full of lizards. This hotel is located on a main street where the sounds of cars are very annoying. I did not find even one good feature to mention here, so I do not advise anyone to book and stay in this hotel because the pictures are not reality.
