Temexkal Resort

I contacted the hotel prior to our arrival to inquire about road safety, given the recent heavy rainfall and the fact that they are located on a bumpy dirt road, quite a ways away from the main paved road. They assured me it was safe. However, upon attempting to drive to the hotel, we quickly realized it was not safe for us nor for our rental car. We also knew that it would be even more unsafe once it got dark and more heavy rain was forecast for that night. So, we contacted the hotel to request a cancellation and a refund for these special circumstances. They refused to cooperate, and even after several communications over the course of a week, their answer remained the same: no refunds; sorry. So, not only did we spend $500 for a room we never got to use, but we also had to spend another $500 to find last-minute accommodations elsewhere in places with paved/dry roads that were safer to drive on. The only reason I'm giving this hotel 2 stars rather than 1 is because they at least were willing to communicate with me regarding the issue rather than ignoring me. They even seemed somewhat empathetic and offered to let us stay at their hotel for 2 nights some other time. However, we don't know when we'll be going back to Mexico, so this offer was not useful for us. Really wish they would have prioritized our safety over our money. Very disappointing.

La habitación está muy bonita. mas sin embargo habia 1 bola de cabello por los silloncitos y la colcha estaba manchada solo fuimos a dormir estábamos celebrando nuestro aniversario

La atención es muy buena el detalle es que había varias cosas que no estaban disponibles cuando decían que lo incluía y el alumbramiento estaba un poco mal

El menu del desayuno era bueno

This property made themselves available at all times. It is a little rural to get there (lots of terrain) but once you’re there it’s so worth it! They close the area in the evening so your cars are secured but if you are returning past that time you can reach out to them via message and they are immediately available for you. Very relaxing environment. Recommend as a great place to go and reset. Will definitely be back!

Estuvo bien el lugar , me tocó un mal momento de que se fuera la luz pero ya casi hasta la noche se resolvió. El servicio estuvo excelente me atendieron muy bien como en persona como por WhatsApp Lo único que no me gustó o me hubiera gustado que por el precio que pague hubiera incluido lo que habia en el refribar .

Muy bonitas instalaciones y habitaciones bien cuidadas, cuenta con 2 jacuzzis y 1 alberca, muy bien para relajarse, el paisaje es muy bonito alrededor, solamente no cuenta con restaurante, pero si tienen servicio de comida como hamburguesas, alitas, nachos y ese tipo de cosas, y cuenta con desayuno continental pan, jugo y café.

Buenas instalaciones, muy recomendable.

We stayed in the two-floor cabin. Everything was great, except that the bathrooms are tiny and not fit for tall people or people with mobility issues. Also, the toilet in the bathroom upstairs did not work well. Finally, i would suggest placing the TV in the common area instead of just in one bedroom. We wanted to watch a movie together at night after having hit the wineries and having dinner, as it was too cold to be outside; however, the TV was in the lower bedroom with no couch for everyone to sit in.

IT WAS GORGEOUS

The place was Amazing, room was clean and nice our room was the Delux and it had a Jacuzzi. They bring your continental breakfast to your room when you request it. Overall good customer service.

El trato del personal fue muy amable, las instalaciones y las amenidades muy bonitas . Regresaría !!
