ULIV Condesa

Good stay! Updated room. Water dispenser in lobby was nice. I would say it’s a 3 star hotel rather than a 4. There was no air conditioning, only a fan. One day the water was only warm not hot.

get location, easy access

ULIV was a great location for our stay in Mexico City. Very easy to walk to restaurants and shopping. Quiet neighborhood overall. The rooftop deck was a great feature for relaxing outdoors, reading, working. Comfortable and underused while I was there - definitely a bonus. The room was smaller than it appeared in photos, but manageable since my partner and I pack light. All kitchen appliances worked. Overall the rental was pretty clean. Bathroom lacked hooks for towels. The hot water seemed to be out for a couple of days. I did not investigate with staff so cannot say if this happens often. A couple of cool showers were okay after warm days of site seeing. We did utilize the laundry facility, another nice bonus. It was clean, free, and I’m working order. I would definitely stay here again. Good value for the price.

The stay was perfect. Room was clean, has a kitchen with a mini fridge and microwave!

La habitación estaba muy bien, todo ordenado y limpio. En la parte de la cocina tenía todo lo esencial y no nos hizo falta ningun elemento para preparar la comida. En la habitación todo estaba bien, tenía una unidad pequeña de ventilación, plancha y caja fuerte. En el baño todo estaba bien solo que el piso se encharcaba porque las puertas de la regadera no sellaban bien. El personal fue super amable, si vas debes tomar en cuenta que no incluye servicio de limpieza a menos que lo contrates, y en este servicio se incluye el cambio de toallas y el despacho de la basura que hayas acumulado. En nuestro caso no contratamos este servicio pero nos resolvieron al momento de pedirles apoyo para tirar la basura y pedir bolsas nuevas.

10/10, place was clean, cool, staff was nice very walkable. Safe area and secure building.

The room was very clean and the bed was comfortable. The tv was good. The bathroom was very small. The biggest problem was that there was no air conditioning and the room was quite hot. There is a fan. In fairness, the description said this, I just didn’t notice it because I assumed ac. The staff is friendly.

Our standard room provided everything we needed for our 1 week stay. ULIV Mexicali is where we stayed, right at 83 Calle Mexicali, but there is another location called ULIV Condessa, not sure why the description shows this to be ULIV Condesa. The location was so convenient. Many restaurants and parks within walking distance. We did have a street facing room, so we did have some noise with the window open, but it was fine with the window closed. The standup cooling fan worked well. The shower was great, except I would really recommend that the shower be provided with an antislip mat, the tiles are very, very slippery. The rooftop terrace is such an added bonus. We had dinner there one night. Tables and chairs are available, a washroom (although it was out of order that night), there are comfortable couches as well. Our bed was comfortable. If I had to suggest some improvements, I would suggest a less fragrant detergent for sheets and towels, and a bedside switch to turn off the lights. Minor issues…we truly enjoyed our stay. Our front desk staff were very polite and helpful.

There was no temperature control in the room other than a fan. The toilet seat did not fit the toilet and the toilet tilted side to side. The front entrance was tiled with shiney black tile and there were 2 angled steps that were very hard to see.

Perfect location! Great rooftop! Friendly staff! We will definitely stay here again.
