Galgorm

Dimmer lights in the room were not working so I was either sitting in very bright lights or in the dark if they were too much. I had to use a small bedside lamp for ambient lighting. I was also unable to turn off the main lights from the bed with on switch broken off the wall, so had to cross the room to turn off the lights for bed. . During the night the fridge began to make an awful drone which woke me out of sleep at 2am. I had to ask management to come out and listen to it. He had to turn the fridge off and on again and lower the thermostat. Terrible night's sleep. Staff were very friendly and helpful, not their fault obviously.

Nice stay wish tv had have been on the wall opposite the bed which is what we had last time.....breakfast was beautiful in the river view room...highly recommended.

Hotel was stunning at this time of year, had a dirty towel in our room, the soap dispenser didn’t work upstairs, we had pre paid the day before for treatments but where made to wait 10/15 mins on checkout to verify as they tried to charge us again. Staff are very quick to ask about allergies for breakfast but don’t offer any appropriate alternatives with the exception of terrible gluten free toast. For the price it could do a lot better

Service could have been slighter better with regards to tranfers between main hotel and forest accomadation given it being December and your expected to wear your robe to and from spa as only private members get lockers. Which isnt very appropriate when stayin away from the main spa itself.

From the second we entered the door we were greeted by the friendliest staff, our room was spotless and the food was out of this world gorgeous. Throughly enjoyed our stay and can’t wait to return.

The whole experience was amazing, the staff were so helpful, the thermal village was delightful, I love staying at Galgorm. It was so Christmassy with gorgeous decorations and everything feels so luxurious.

Everything was amazing ! Lovely friendly staff, outstanding river view from our gorgeous room, with our own Christmas tree ! Breakfast was delicious, as were the meals in Gillies and Fratellis. And the wonderful relaxing spa to top it off. Fantastic two days.

We had the most relaxing time at Galgorm, food, cottage and Spa where amazing, the staff are so attentive, special mention to Tiff on reception she is so friendly and welcoming. We would definitely go back and definitely recommend a trip to Galgorm.

Our stay was ok, the hotel was extremely busy and I don’t feel we got the good out of the thermal village as it was so busy, thankfully I had treatments booked which made us feel more relaxed but it’s very pricey when we had already spent so much for the stay but the treatments are what made our stay. We also got woken up quite a few times during the night with loud noises from the floor above which was the main floor. It continued the whole night. I also found that the staff were extremely slow when it was so busy and I had to repeat answers to the same questions over and over again and felt that they didn’t seem to be listening and forgetting that they had already asked the questions which added to the long delay for other people standing behind us. There were plenty of staff but it seemed like they didn’t have enough stations to deal with the amount of people to be seen to, staff there to deal with them but nowhere for them to process it. The rooms were also extremely warm and only Dyson fans to blow the warm air around which was uncomfortable. It was also unusual the floor layout to find your room we were on the second floor but had to walk a good bit to find the lift to go down and still didn’t find the stairs, we did find stairs but it would only bring us to certain floors and it wasn’t ours. maybe just us but it was confusing

A termal spa set in the countryside. What could be better. It never disappointed in any level.

Have been to the galgorm 3 times now and love it more and more each time, the best place to go for a relaxing and magical break especially when you book one of the lodges, I’ve stayed in the shepherds hut and the forest den and both were so magical and incredible! Have also stayed in one of the cottage’s which are so handy and comfy and equipped with everything you need! I usually get take away when I stay and the food is soooo good and very reasonably priced and super quick service! Can’t wait to go back for another break 😍

It was fantastic 2 nights . I proposed to my lady in a lovely romantic place, couldn’t be better . Didn’t get much as gift from them but the place is just amazing . We love it and planned to go there once a year.. Didn’t have £ to give tips esp the valet but he was a nice guy .. next time
