As estruturas do hotel necessitam de uma reforma, o lugar é lindo, equipe boa. Tenha em consideração que vc irá para um hotel ecológico, não tem televisão, a recarga do celular é feita somente na recepção e vc ficará longe da cidade . Ciente disso é uma boa opção.

Very clean rooms, the food was eh and the views are amazing.

Beautiful location and customer service was outstanding. The only issue we had was mainly the location and inability to charge devices in your lodge - devices needed to be left with reception to charge. While they had set times for free water taxis into Bocas Town, if you needed to leave outside of these times, it could cost anywhere from $15-$30USD/person for a one-way trip from local water taxis (well beyond the typical $1-$5USD/person for travel if you're in town). If you're looking to do lots of exploring and island hopping it may be a bit more of a hassle, but if you're looking to relax and disconnect, this is the place for you! Major shoutout to the staff for being so accommodating during our stay :)

The lady at reception was amazing. Always helpful and kind. The same with the breakfast staff and the boat operators. However, some things are not evident on Hotels.com website. First, each bungalow functions on a marine battery, which powers the lamps and ceiling fans only. I use a CPAP medical device which would not run on such a low voltage. I would have brought a battery pack for mine if I had known in advance. The bungalow itself is two floors and I found the steep stairs to be challenging at times. The back of the bungalow is open and a nice ocean breeze flows through. It rained a few times with the wind so the rain came inside through the "window". Use the provided plastic container for your electronics or valuables. You have to charge any electronics at reception. It would be wise to charge things like a battery bank at that spot and then charge more expensive items from your battery afterwards. The food served in the restaurant was average.

Absolutely stunning! Beautiful place on the water, very peaceful and super friendly staff!!

It was very nice and very serene. Nice little getaway. The water right outside the porch your private porch is great. If you are looking for peace and quiet this is your place. No TV, no fridge no outlets so I just suggest bring some power banks and you can charge at the front desk. The staff was nice and I believe the owners were there too and were super nice. We also got to see a few dolphins swimming close to our bungalow a couple of times.

Foi uma experiência muito positiva, minhas crianças pequenas amaram estar praticamente dentro do mar. É lindo! A comida é boa! Saliento que eu sabia que era uma cabine com pouca energia elétrica, então eu fui preparadara para essa experiência mais rústica! 1 ou 2 dias são suficientes para quem vai com crianças. Tudo muito limpo e time atencioso. Não tem ar condicionado (o que é normal em um local com energia elétrica limitada)

Que les puedo decir si usted viene a un lugar ecológico pues tiene que aceptar ciertas incomodidades, el lugar es precioso tiene un acuario natural en tu habitacion. Pero vienes a descansar no a que te controlen tu horario, la cena hay que pedirla por anticipado de un menú fatal diseñado para gente obesa y sin gusto. Ahora eso pasa, pero lo que está pésimo es Bocas del Toro y en especial el tour que nos recomendaron en el hotel, la verdad mucha carestía, y el tour una estafa, nos llevaban a un lugar de avistamiento de delfines vimos uno, nos ofrecieron una isla con playa virgen y no había campos donde sentarse de la calidad de gente, y no nos divergieron que no hay absolutamente nada donde consumir nada, nos llevaron a un lugar insalubre en medio del mar donde cobraron $30 por un plato feo en un lugar que mi país el Ministerio de Salud hubiera cerrado sin contemplaciones y que además tienen la chachaza de levantarnos de la “mesa” porque tenían más clientes, bocas en general está caro y tienen muchos costos ocultos, el hotel tiene botes a la isla principal gratis, pero en horarios que nadie usa 6:30 am el siguiente hasta las 11:45 es decir o te vas demasiado temprano o pierdes toda la mañana. Que queda contratar el mismo bote pero pagando adicional, hasta te cobran impuesto de entrada a bocas cuando es la verdad un municipio con aire de tugurio, los ticos que van porque lo consideran barato mejor que se queden en Puerto Viejo al final sale igual de precio con mejor servicio.

Good place for relax and enjoy good vacations with the family

This is such a cool place! Beautiful surroundings and a unique experience. It is rustic, but a fun adventure. You must climb up and down quite steep stairs to get to the bedroom. Unfortunately, we had lots of rain, so took the water taxi into town and did some exploring. We went to red frog beach. Beautiful! Staff are nice. Food good. Not many vegetarian options, but overall good. We kayaked and snorkeled. Beautiful! I highly recommend.

Expedia sold me a "package deal" for flight and stay. Expedia failed to deliver, they only providing a flight to Panama and no flight to Bocas. Nor was any of this mentioned or disclosed that you would be responsible for the additional in the "package deal" I contacted Expedia 2-weeks before the trip to get this issue resolved. They were NO HELP. Then I contacted this resort directly via email and phone to try to change my check in date to accommodate the additional flights needed to get to Bocas and the resort. They NEVER replied, or answered the phone to provide help or to make the situation right, or even the common courtesy to email me back or answer the phone. I was taken advantage of, and ALL of the money I spent on this trip was down the drain. Very upset and disappointed.

very nice cabins

This was the perfect ecolodge on the water! Maria, who owns and manages the lodge, always went over and above for our family to arrange day trips/boat rides to town and provided amazing travel guidance. We needed to charge our phones at reception but it was a small price to pay for a beautiful and unique Panama experience with great rooms and gorgeous views. We ate our breakfasts and lunches on site but preferred the restaurants in town for dinner. Our teens loved it and want to go back! Highly recommend!
