Log Cabin Hotel-Baguio

Clean room, kind staff, beautiful area

Although the climate is cooler there is no room AC. our room was top floor and had to open door and window at Xmas time to cool it down. Traffic is horrible and directions poor. Took 3 tries to find the place. You miss it, you have about 40 minutes of traffic to fight. Staff was young and not very cordial. Free breakfast, we got our money's worth. It was ok. Location is good for ease to downtown and definitely good for the botanical garden. Through no fault of theirs, a tree feel taking out Internet and power. They had a generator but shut it off at night. Fortunately the power came in later in the night. Wi-Fi was out for good. No refund for lack of services. Wouldn't even consider it. Really wouldn't recommend. Takes forever for hot water to get to shower. Shower door didn't close so water soaked bath mat. Bed was good. Have to go downstairs to get potable water to drink. Electrical plugs are all worn out. Don't really want to go back to Baguio because the traffic but if you do, not a fan of this place.

The staff are kind and courteous. The place just needs a little refurbishing.

All was good, only thing was the wifi, kept losing internet access most of the time.

Stayed for one night it was nice stay. Have everything you need and the staff is friendly.

Everything's great, but the wifi was so slow when inside the room. Most of the time it disappears too. I had to do online work during our stay so it was a bit of a hassle. But overall, great experience and great staff.

Beautiful place and quite

It was good over all

The room is small very simple, doesn't have the feel of a log cabin. The look is very basic.Walking towards the cabin, it didn't look exciting or interesting 😆. We have to pay additional for extra person (700pesos+).Only the front has the log cabin look.Breakfast was good with nice ambiance. Overall,it's alright

Staff are helpful and friendly.

I did not expect too much but when we got there, it was perfect. We like the dinning area, the bathroom was awesome and the terrace it was magnificent. I will be back here, that is pretty sure.

Great for romantic getaway

The bathroom is not clean and the floor too. It was warm inspite of theelectric fans. No ac so it was uncomfortable during the night

The hotel has a unique cabin feel differentiating it from other hotels. The cost of stay here is very cheap for what you are getting in return.

I enjoyed my stay here. The Internet access inside the room and in the restaurant was poor to non-existent. It detracted from what was an otherwise very nice stay. In my room they put the router behind the TV. Poor idea. The electronics in the TV degraded the signal to where it either didn't reach the other side of the room or totally prohibited it. Either way, the Internet wasn't very fast. Upon arrival I was told that the TV in my room didn't work. She said something about the Cable provider. I turned it on and it came on, but there was no signal so it was probably that the cable wasn't working. It was not a smart TV. Almost every day they had a buffet breakfast with an egg station and a couple of options for meat, rice, chicken and soup. The restaurant staff did a good job except for the night I arrived where I sat down at a table and no one came to my table to bring a menu or anything for 15 minutes so I got up and went to the bar and the food service in the was exceptional. One person to mention here, Chab (spelling), has been here five years and should be considered for promotion. He exhibits the most energy and politeness of anyone I met at the property. When in the bar he was fast to see that you needed something and made sure you had a chance to order more food at 9pm when the kitchen staff had last call. The bar does close at 10pm as it is an acoustic bar with live music every night. A great place to listen to good music, have some good food and beer, etc. Enjoy!

This is a clean mid level hotel with friendly staff. In close proximity to Botanical Garden. Plenty to eat in breakfast buffet. I would prefer if the food were hotter. The buffet starts at 7 am but already cold when we came to eat at 8am. There was a omelet station and cook to order. I would stay here again if I'm in Baguio.

The ambience and beauty of the landscape

The fireplace suite was an excellent room. The towels are all white and new. The bathroom is very clean. The staff is polite and courteous.
