Although the resort needs a little R&R, we enjoyed our stay very much. Quiet area, not a lot of noise like the town. The staff was wonderful! Housekeeping is very fast when you need extra towels, coffee, etc! Restaurant food was amazing. Could use more choices for breakfast buffet. We booked our excursion through the hotel and the staff made it very easy. My wife and I got magnificent massages. Easy to obtain a trip-cycle for a trip to town. We will definitely stay here again.

We stayed at M02 Hotel for 6 nights and had a great experience. The staff were amazing—super friendly, helpful, and genuinely kind people who made us feel very welcome throughout our stay. The pool area is really nice and relaxing, and the food was very good as well. Going in, we knew the hotel was a bit outside of town, but it was never an issue since there was always a tricycle driver available to take us into town whenever we needed. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend M02 Hotel.

When we arrived, the hotel was overbooked, and as a solution, they offered a room “upgrade” that involved moving us to another hotel in the same hotel’s group across the road, Coron Westown Resort. The room we were offered was full of mould; it was hard to breathe. When we asked reception to move us to another room, they said they were also fully booked and didn’t offer any solution.

The room condition was ok. There was no fridge to keep cooled water or snacks. The bathroom needs some attention - the grout was black and dirty and missing in a lot of places in the bathroom. The shower leaked quite badly. We had to pay 450 pesos per person for breakfast which was pretty terrible. Very limited food for westerners. Suggest adding some fruit, more cereal, toast, avocado, poached eggs / fried / scrambled, freshly squeezed fruit (not powdered) yoghurt….

The food is the biggest issue. It's not worth the price one bit. Breakfast is alight but not for 475p! There's hidden transportation fees too. I had no idea we were being charged for transportation between airport and the site until check out time. Best thing about this place is the staff. They were very nice and professional.

There’s probably around 20-30 cocks screaming from 5am from one side of the hotel. On the other is what is reckon is a blacksmith or a metal repair shop providing a hammering noice constantly from 8-18. Very uncomfortable and right beside the pool area. Do not book this hotel if you need to relax.

We had confirmed all the booking details through email before the trip, including the room type. In the end, the four-person room we booked was changed to two double rooms. The staff at the front desk was emotional and said this was the best they could do. Very unprofessional and disappointing. I don’t recommend this hotel and I will never stay here again.

Terrible experience. The hotel overbooked the rooms and tried to move us across the street to another place. We were already in the lobby, yet they wanted to give our reserved room to other guests who hadn’t even arrived yet. Before the trip, we had been emailing back and forth to confirm all the details, including the room type. In the end, the four-person room we booked was replaced with two double rooms. The front desk staff spoke in an agitated tone and insisted that this was the best they could do. Extremely unprofessional and disappointing. I absolutely do not recommend this hotel — I will never stay here again!

Property is located outside the main town. It’s great grounds and the room was really clean. You will need to get a tryc for 15-20 minutes to get into town. The pool looks really nice, the water is really warm. My wife had her slipper stolen outside our room at night. They did try to check on the CCTV but we never got any follow-up.

A communal water machine would be better environmentally, than 2 small plastic bottles being left every day,although very welcoming. Not far from town 50 pesos per person in a tricycle

The hotel overbooked and tried to move us to another place across the street. We were already at the lobby, but they still wanted to give our room to other guests who hadn’t arrived yet. We had confirmed all the booking details through email before the trip, including the room type. In the end, the four-person room we booked was changed to two double rooms. The staff at the front desk was emotional and said this was the best they could do. Very unprofessional and disappointing. I don’t recommend this hotel and I will never stay here again.

Terrible experience. The hotel overbooked the rooms and tried to move us across the street to another place. We were already in the lobby, yet they wanted to give our reserved room to other guests who hadn’t even arrived yet. Before the trip, we had been emailing back and forth to confirm all the details, including the room type. In the end, the four-person room we booked was replaced with two double rooms. The front desk staff spoke in an agitated tone and insisted that this was the best they could do. Extremely unprofessional and disappointing. I absolutely do not recommend this hotel — I will never stay here again!

Property is located outside the main town. It’s great grounds and the room was really clean. You will need to get a tryc for 15-20 minutes to get into town. The pool looks really nice, the water is really warm. My wife had her slipper stolen outside our room at night. They did try to check on the CCTV but we never got any follow-up.

Hotel on the whole, value for money . Slightly tired, reflected in the price. Beautiful well maintained pool .Service excellent. A communal water machine would be better environmentally, than 2 small plastic bottles being left every day,although very welcoming. Not far from town 50 pesos per person in a tricycle
