San Antonio Resort

Great location. By the beach. And close to all delicious retstaurant.

Newer, close to the beach and restraunts, plus 7/11 is across the street. overall a great place to stay

Nice resort but not maintained as well as it could be. Great lake side room. Food good and reasonably priced

I like that San Antonio is accessible to multiple dining options around the area plus it’s walkable to other attractions like people’s park and head spa place.

I'd like to give a 5 star to everything here since I've noticed housekeeping staff are doing their absolute best to keep the rooms clean. However, just like the faucets and shower, I'm struggling to give it a perfect score since ... they can only do so much since the property conditions for the 'Superior room' are getting bad since (probably because it's gotten very old compared to the more recently built deluxe rooms). We couldn't take a shower or brush our teeth properly without the either the faucet or shower barely able to get any water out of itself. We mentioned to the front desk, I guess maintenance never got around to fixing it. That or it really was that particular room that's just old and needs to be redeveloped again. Also insects seem to be getting in somehow in the bathroom. Otherwise, the stay was okay. We did like that the housekeeping replenished the necessities daily and breakfast meals ! But yeah, kinda envious of the guests that got to stay in the Deluxe rooms since I'm sure their rooms are great with them being more recently built. Hopefully the older rooms get the much needed fixup that they need.

The staff are all helpful. Internet is good. Food is good, enjoyed the buffet. Facilities are not great , there’s a lot of things to improve. Maintenance is poor. There’s a lot of leak in their building. Elevator not working when we were there. But nothing to say with the staff. Very courteous.

Felt very safe. Clean. Staff very accommodating ! Pool area very nice.

Beautiful resort and nice seafoods all outside the resort grounds. Very clean with good TV options. Outdoor swimming pool is brilliant also

Like the food at their restaurant. Food service is fast too.

Great hotel overall. Shame one pool was out of use and looked messy. Other pool was good. Rooftop also unavailable. It was a little noisy staying at the front of the hotel but nothing too bad, but I would request a back facing room if I stayed again. Breakfast was good, a lot of choice.

Resort stay: * Unclean bedding (stained sheets/pillows) * Broken toilet * No in-room safe * Lack of umbrellas for guests (far walk to rooms) * Inconsistent upgrade policy * Unhelpful front desk staff (except for checkout) This highlights the key issues I faced without unnecessary detail.

The heater stopped working but they sorted it out the next day

Wij hadden een huisje aan het water, volgens mij de oudste in het resort. Alles was vies, schimmel in de koelkast, heel veel beestjes in de kamer. Vooral mieren en ook hele grote die via de badkamer naar binnen kwamen lopen. Na een black out deed de airco het niet meer... de beestjes liepen over het ontbijt. Voor ons als "verwende" westerlingen niet voor herhaling vatbaar. Helaas was er geen andere kamer beschikbaar omdat alles vol zat door een bruiloft en een festival dus het was even doorbijten drie dagen.

Unfortunately the hotel is not well kept - the bathroom had only cold water to shower & is in need of a refurb and good clean. Building works around the hotel are still not completed. A disappointing return from our last visit in 2019. We don’t recommend & will not stay again.

The room that was assigned to us looks spooky, The toilet door squeak and the veranda ceiling needs to be fix.. it's such a shame though coz every time we come home in Roxas we love to stay here.
