Slam's Garden Dive Resort

Good hotel.

Loved Slams so much. Really dialed in place, all the way from the staff, to the location, to the food. (Every meal off the lunch dinner menu was unreal). Super clean. Quiet. Peaceful. Kind staff. Dive shop on site. Bar and restaurant on site. Wifi worked perfect. AC worked perfect. They have some solar lighting outside. Bug zappers. Outdoor fans. Filtered water and ice. Amazing pool. Can’t say enough good things. We will miss this place.

Had a great stay at Slam Resort! The staff were super friendly, check-in was smooth, and we even got free juice on arrival. We upgraded to an aircon room the next day with free breakfast and coffee, worth it! The place is very clean and accommodating. Only suggestion is maybe add a TV in the room. Even though it rained in the afternoon and night, our stay was excellent because of the warm and friendly staff. Highly recommend!

Buena relación calidad-precio aunque las habitaciones son antiguas y los baños necesitan renovación. Por el precio, muy razonable. El dueño Santiago se muestra más que dispuesto a ayudar si tu intención es bucear y los precios son los más baratos de la isla.

Well-situated hotel 5 mins away from the jetty. Rooms were big but not well equipped. Cleanliness was expected of a dive resort but could have been better. Bottled water was not provided and had to be paid for at the reception counter from a dispenser. Staff were very friendly and accomodating and pool was clean

Saubere, gepflegte Anlage und Zimmer, sehr großer Pool. Im Restaurant kann man sehr gut essen, wir haben fast nur dort zu Abendessen gegessen, landestypische Speiseauswahl. Aufmerksames und freundliches Personal. Nah zum Hafen. Tauchen war auch sehr gut, Nel ein sehr guter Guide. Allerdings empfiehlt es sich, seine Wünsche und Vorstellungen selbst anzusprechen, wir wurden nicht offensiv angesprochen bzw. gefragt und eine Einweisung in die örtlichen Gegebenheiten und Abläufe gab es erst auf Nachfrage, dann war die Anwort stets hilfsbereit.

We were very happy with our stay at Slams. Friendly staff, spotless rooms, good breakfast and a great and very useable swimming pool. We also dived with their dive centre, they have a large comfy boat and great boat crew, very happy with our guides, Jay and Jino and they offer very good rates. Not a criticism but 2 things I would change are, I would add more pool loungers and swap the existing ones for ones with adjustable backs and also while there was plenty of hot water, the shower head was useless and had to removed from the cradle and hand held to get wet.

Trevligt hotell nära stranden och hamnen. Lugn omgivning och restaurangen serverade både frukost, dryck som lunch och middag. Trevligt med balkong. Trevlig och hjälpsam personal.

Gute Inhaber geführte Unterkunft. Die beiden Inhaber sind stets vor Ort und sehr freundlich genauso wie das übrige Personal. Die Betten sind sehr bequem.

가격도 괜찮고 위치도 괜찮고 만족하는 숙소입니다

Das Resort liegt in zweiter Reihe zum Strand, 3 Minuten zu Fuß vom Hafen aus erreichbar. Es ist eine der wenigen Anlagen mit einem eigenem Pool, sehr sauber und gepflegt; und einer wirklich schönen und liebevoll gepflegten Gartenanlage. Das Personal ist immer und überall freundlich und kompetent. Unser Aufenthalt war ursprünglich mit 5 Erwachsenen und einem Kind geplant, daher waren 3 Doppelzimmer gebucht. Leider ist eine Person spontan angesprungen, aber ohne Probleme hat uns das Resort ein Doppel- und ein Familienzimmer zur Verfügung gestellt. Wahrscheinlich ein Glücksfall, da wir in der Nebensaison gereist sind, dennoch überaus nett und vor allem lobenswert! Das Essen im Restaurant ist immer frisch zubereitet und lecker, die Auswahl sehr gut. Für traditionelleres Essen gibt es in der Umgebung diverse Restaurants oder den Nachtmarkt mit einer riesigen Auswahl an BBQ. Die Zimmer sind sehr gut ausgestattet und ausreichend groß, vom Balkon oder von der Terrasse aus hat man eine schöne Aussicht auf die Anlage. Was anzumerken ist: es gibt weder im Bad, noch am Pool Frischwasser. D.h. man duscht oder schwimmt mit aufbereiteten Salzwasser, was nicht ungewöhnlich ist für so eine kleine Insel auf den Philippinen. Das ist aber auch kein Problem, denn anstandslos kann man sich für wenig Geld eine Gallone Frischwasser auf‘s Zimmer kommen lassen. Ich bedanke mich beim Personal für diesen schönen Aufenthalt und empfehle dieses Resort definitiv weiter. Ich würde jederzeit wiederkommen!

Close to ferry & beach. Friendly staff, beautiful grounds w pool, quiet location. They have generator for brownouts. I recommend low season to malapascua

This resort is the only property with a relaxing pool located in private, gated area close to the pier and market. Be aware this resort is not along the white sandy beach where all the resorts are lined up. The rooms are huge but make sure you choose the Aircon rate or else you’ll just get a fan in your room which would not be enough for some to get comfy. Wifi is strong inside the resort as the cell tower is just behind the property. The Ocean Passion Dive Center offers daily trip to see the Tresher Sharks and Gato Island. Dive staff are all very friendly and will take care of your gears. Food at the restaurant is outstanding. Free Continental breakfast with a variety of choices. Lastly, bring CASH. Credit card payments may entail additional fees.

Our room was very comfortable, clean, cool, no complaints here. Complimentary breakfast was awesome.
