Alles in Allem ein perfekter Aufenthalt. Man sollte einen Mietwagen nehmen, obwohl der Bus direkt vor dem Haus hält. Das guesthouse liegt etwas abseits. Parkplätze auf der Straße vorhanden, schnelles Internet, Satellitenfernsehen, Frühstück kann Vorort gebucht. Super lecker. Eier von eigenen Hühnern, Obst zum Teil aus dem Garten. Abends die Möglichkeit einen Absacker zu genießen. Dass Bier braut ein Freund (eine Bar ist zudem direkt gegenüber). Alle Zimmer Meerblick. Die Betreiber kommen aus Deutschland. Das gesamte Anwesen wird auf dem neusten Stand gehalten. Wir hatten den Pool nur für uns allein. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Amazing view especially at night. Pool is so lovely but a lil chilly in winter, great to practice some singing & swimming if a little cold. Also a great view with pool. Bathroom is beautiful and bed super comfy. Love the Big flower fan on the roof...love the kitchen space downstairs. Great place to stay!

Kakitangan meja sambut tetamu akan menyambut tetamu ketika ketibaan di hartanah.

Très belle vue sur le cap girao à l'est. Chambre tout confort. Dommage que la route passe juste sous la terrasse et que des chiens aboient juste à côté du soir au matin... Sinon, les patrons sont très agréables et arrangeants.

The view from the bedrooms and the infinity pool was stunning, just sea and hills - very calming. The hosts were very friendly and helpful and genuinely wanted everyone to have a good time. As the property is quite a way from the centre of Ribero Brava and does not do meals apart from breakfast, you might be advised to hire a car. That said, I used the local bus ( which stops outside )which is cheap and a fun way to travel on the old coast road , twisting and turning it's way up and down the hills between Ribera Brava and Funchal (90 minutes in total) Doing that means you are able to enjoy the sights and meet many of the locals. I walked the four kilometres or so into Ribera Brava a few times but took the bus back as it was all uphill and the temperature was in the mid to high 20's for the nine days I was there. If you want to swim in the sea, there is a lido at Ribera Brava with toilets and changing cubicles (50 cents) which has a swimming pool and access to a sheltered harbour. There are so many things to see and do all over the island so it is worth driving inland and into the mountains or taking an organised trip from Funchal. The other side of the road from the guesthouse is a little bar owned by a lovely local couple where you can have coffee, drinks and snacks and just soak up the view.
