Sandy Beach Hotel

The elevator was broken and we were booked on the 3rd floor. We could not carry our heavy suitcase up the narrow stairwell.

It was absolutely amazing

Staff were all amazing and the location cannot be beat.

Room was clean. Staff was wonderful!

Get ready for an adventure!! Let's start with the good points. The room was cleanish… during our four days we didnt see any bugs or critters. Also the overnight security guard was super nice and was able to help us find a place to watch the Super Bowl. One or two front desk staff were very nice and helpful others ranged from uninterested to absolutely rude. The AC was ice cold !!! Worked very well we had to shut it off it got so cold The adventure!! There is no parking expect to park at the Mariott next door and pay $27 per day if you have a rental the mariott vallet staff are very nice and know what’s up. We lost water Completely to the whole hotel for about 10-12 hours. We heard “the plumber is coming many times. Due to the water loss the toilet got clogged and it took several requests to even get them to bring us a plunger (we had to do it ourselves) Even when back in service the water pressure is Terrible and tepidly warm as best of you like hot showers like I do you will be disappointed. A puddle was in our hall outside our door we wiped it up because we kept tracking it into our room but it kept. Coming back. The roof terrace is a joke. Go see it it’s worth a laugh. The adjacent building is twice as tall so all you can look at is a concrete wall no ocean view lol The room was a little small there is no fridge no microwave, coffeemaker or anything you might expect. TV was streaming only on a dated smart TV. And the WiFi in the hotel was slow.

It’s ok

Old and neglected room. Contour sheet felt like sandpaper. There was no cover sheet just a light blanket. The A/C worked well and there was enough sand on the floor that it felt like walking on the beach.

Cleaning could be improved

Bed blanket had stains on it, not enough toilet paper, tv volume would not work from remote , shower head dripped all night. The staff was very nice though

Hotel antigo. Banheiro pequeno. Precisa reforma urgentemente. Equipe atenciosa. Sem problemas tanto no Check-in quanto no check-out.

Loved the location and the staffs friendliness.

Diana, Rafael and Ivan were amazing support during my stay. Came for a work trip and got stuck a few extra days due to ice storms back home. Staff made sure I could stay there and not have to move. It is a safe, quite place.

O hotel pode ser antigo, porém a limpeza deixa a desejar, especialmente pela presença de areia na entrada, nos corredores e no quarto. Além disso, o quarto apresenta excesso de claridade, o que prejudica o descanso; roupas de cama e toalhas muito precários

Three stars is because of location.

The hotel is located right next to the Marriott. Although street parking may not be feasible if you park Valet with Marriott, currently it's $27. The location is walking distance to restaurants and for us, attending the festival was perfect. The location for beach and sunseekers is a plus. The room was comfortable and clean. We will return. was perfect. Sanrecommend to use the Valet Parking inarriott. Currently it's $27.

Front desk lady was very nice and helpful, but the very small lobby has a couch and a chair, nothing more, and there were 2 locals who were basically living in the lobby, they were there the whole time that we were, it was completely unacceptable. The rooms were avg. but the outlets were so worn out it was difficult just to charge a phone. The hotel is next to a night club and it was LOUD until 2 AM, and the street was loud until 330AM.

Close to the beach, a block away! Loved that they have a small restaurant at the hotel. Staff was friendly. Would book again.

The bed skirt, couch and curtains were stained. The bed covering were only sheets. There was a stained blanket

Friendly staff the accommodations did not meet expectations.
