We had 2 nights in Doha in transit to Japan. Loved it! The hotel provided excellent service, location, facilities and friendliness. The pool was very welcome after a long 44degC day walking around Doha. Excellent value for money

Clean room, but room was not ready when i checked in around 11pm. Room service charges 10 QAR for a small bucket of ice. Breakfast restaurant opens at 6am but my flight was at 7am so I tried to order room service at 4am. The line rang for a long time but room service did not answer. I decided to walk 7 minutes to Dairy Queen which is open 24 hours. As I walk through the hotel lobby at 4am, there were several staff members just standing around the reception desk.

Our first Room on Floor4 supposedly the Non Smoking Floor reeked of cigarette smoke.It took until 3pm on Day 2 to get moved to a new room on Floor 6.Duty Manager finally sorted out the move but it took from 8.00am to get the issue resolved....during this time we stayed out of our room to avoid the stench of smoke.Certainly not a good response time.
