Plaza Inn Hotel

Had to change the room 2 times ! First room smelled after smoking, even though it was a non smoking room. 2 room was out to the main road and very noisy. 3 Room was upgraded and ok. Reception was responsible towards our complaints and took action.

Not worth the amount paid . Very smelly rooms and toilets and sound of water from the upper floor . Very old Bad mattress They try make me happy by changing room but unfortunately it’s disaster

This property gave me the ick. There was a mildew smell and sounds of running water through the wall the whole time! The sheet had a stain so I asked for an extra comforter and slept between two comforters with pants and a long sleeve. But hey is was a sale price of $60 so idk why expected more. Maybe because it’s rates 4 stars?

We really enjoyed the spacious room. Sadly the matress was very worn and uncomfortable.

Did not have hot water all throughout my stay. But I did not report it though.

It was not given they committed. Small room with smal bed. !! 15:00 check in!!!! Haft of the day gone..!! No breakfast included even paid for full price!!

The hotel's location was good, and the staff were friendly and helpful. Unfortunately, that’s where the positives end. The hotel is quite old and desperately needs maintenance. Our room was in poor condition and looked nothing like the pictures used in marketing. The drapes were nearly impossible to open due to a broken mechanism. Even worse, the bathroom door damper broke in the middle of the night, causing plaster and debris from the wall and wooden frame to fall on my head – a terrible experience for someone going to the bathroom half-asleep at that hour. Additionally, the gym was tiny and had an unbearable odor. There is no available parking on-site; you must pay QR10 per night to access the hotel parking. However, you'll need to leave your car keys with the security staff. While the location is a major draw, I cannot recommend this hotel in its current state.

Anfangs war das Zimmer sauber, aber der Zimmerservice hat sich später nur noch um den Handtuchwechsel gekümmert. Leider war die Klimaanlage ein großes Problem: Sie ließ sich nicht richtig steuern, lief die ganze Nacht durch und blies direkt aufs Bett. Dadurch bin ich ständig durch den Luftzug aufgewacht. Zusätzlich hat sie die ganze Zeit gebrummt, was den Schlaf weiter gestört hat. Insgesamt also eher weniger empfehlenswert.

I was pretty disappointed with the hotel for many reasons. Reception staff could barely muster a smile, except one of the older male staff who was nice and friendly. I went to reception a few times for various reasons and was almost never greeted with a smile. Saying that, the house keeping staff were extremely friendly and smiley. The hotel itself is very outdated. I didn’t expect it to be and look as old as it is in terms of design and decor, this probably explains why they barely have any photos up on Expedia. It definitely needs a refurb. Especially the bathroom! Incredibly old. The bathroom had a nasty gutter smell and there was no hot water. I did inform reception of this but they said the water has to be run for 15 mins in order to get hot. This is really poor. Because who is going to stand there for 15 mins to wash their hands after going to the toilet? Also, what an incredible waste of water. The shower was the same. I used to run it for 15 mins before getting in but it never really got hot. It did get warm for about 30 seconds but then got cold again and then warm and then cold. Showers were horrible every day. I couldn’t wait to get back home to the UK for a proper hot shower. The room itself was nice and spacious. We had a Twin room with 2 beds. Could easily have fit another 2 beds in the room so there was plenty of walking space. We had a nice big window too looking out to the main street. I wouldn’t choose this hotel again but Qatar was lovely!

It was clean and spacious. Also walkable some of the historic sites.
