The property was beautiful, the staff was outstanding and excellent customer service. However, the room didn’t not get cool enough and they had to bring me a fan and the bathroom wooden shower door was rotted and chipping. The room needs to be updated.

Beautiful property, staff and pool are amazing. My only complaint is I wish there was at least one more food option and or shopping area closer. It is hard getting taxis on the island but even for the pharmacy would be nice to have something onsite or closer.

Staff needs training. It does not take 2-3 staff people to wait on one guest. This makes it difficult for other guests to get help. Certainly the staff was friendly, but organizing how this works would be an improvement. In our “Junior Suite” the toilet switch kept getting stuck and the “refresh” should have replaced old halogen lights with soft LEDs because the halogens cause heat. Also, for high end hotels, there should be both 50 and 60Hz plugs with proper electricity voltage. Systems for this are small but make a lot of difference. Having to use adapters is not high end standards anymore.

When I booked the terrace room with a water view, the pictures in Expedia led me to believe the room would be nicer than it actually was. There were no pictures of the room we were in. It was dark with a sliding door to the bathroom that did not, but construction, close completely. The view was somewhat obstructed. The property is nice and we had a good time, but I expected a light room with a high ceiling and would encourage prospective travelers to Google the various room levels and their images before choosing this property.
