I booked this hotel as a last minute thing and was very impressed! The overall decor is really nice and the food in the restaurant was swift, tasty and well presented! I ate in there for two nights and would happily eat there again to explore the menu more.

The staff members are what make this hotel a good hotel. Breakfast was great - reasonable choice for the Continental element and then a cooked offering on top! I might have missed it, but a bowl of just bananas and apples would go down well with breakfast, for those who want it!

This was a short notice stay in that our flight, hence trip to Ireland, was scrubbed. We thought a stay outside Edinburgh would be nice and Aberdour fits that bill. That being said we found the staff accommodating, the food very good and the location is good with a short walk to the railway etc.

Public areas are really nice, staff were excellent and food in the Cary Grill was excellent. Hotel slightly let down by aging condition of rooms. TV not working properly and bathroom shower was a challenge to operate and keep the shower head from continuously dropping off.
