1) We chose a suite for our one-week stay at the end of August. We liked the separate rooms – bedroom, bathroom and lounge, all separated by conventional doors to divide them from each other, and from the entrance lobby.
2) We liked having a television in each room (bedroom and lounge), both of which provided Sky TV, which we used to watch different sports in each room.
3) We liked the complementary drinks and snacks – 2 bottles of beer, 2 cans of wine, 2 cans of soft drinks, 2 packs of crisps and 2 packs of biscuits, which were replenished each day – if we used them. That was in addition to the tea, coffee and hot chocolate provisions.
4) The sofa in the lounge was very comfortable for watching TV. There was also a swivel armchair, which I didn’t try, as I thought I might not be able to get out of it again! The other seating was an office-type swivel chair at the desk, and an armchair in the bedroom.
5) In the lobby was a double wardrobe, but only one half had a hanging rail. Once I had hung my clothes, there was no space for my partner’s, so he put the (provided) ironing board in the lounge, and placed his clothes on that for the whole week. There were no drawers in which to keep socks, underwear, etc.
6) The fridge was in the cupboard under the bedroom TV. It would have been more convenient to have the fridge in the identical cupboard under the lounge TV. When I needed cold water whilst my partner was asleep, I disturbed him. (Sometimes the tap water .....
