The area was beautiful, situated by the water. The room was small, the bed was like sleeping on the ground with rock pillows. Dinner in the restaurant was mediocre at best. Breakfast was fine. The staff was pleasant.

Check in took about an hour because of pre scheduled bus group and there was only one employee checking in. We finally got to our room to find the only things that worked were the lights, no outlets and no TV. They then provided us with another room on the next floor, no elevator. Carried bags up 3 flights of stairs. Got to new room to find there was no functioning heater and a bathroom fan that ran all night. There was no way to turn it off. Everything was just poorly managed.

We didn't get the VIP benefits and had to pay for a room upgrade. On the 2nd day, housekeeping brought a couple of the Crief Hotel Group gin miniatures and glasses/mixer into the room. This was presumably because we had responded to an Expedia enquiry regarding whether we had been given the promised gift card, which we never did receive. Staff really nice and friendly, area great and hotel fairly mainstream for 3 star venue. Restaurant great view, nice food but a third dearer than local well thought of restaurant and strangely service charge for hotel residents on top; making meals a serious matter. Worth having 2nd thoughts about the VIP access arrangements. Local area amazing for views etc.

We loved this place!!! The restaurant in the hotel is 10/10. The only bad thing was how comfortable the bed was. Otherwise, we loved it so much.

The hotel was great and the views from our room were amazing. The only let down was the stained carpet and the throw on the bed could do with going in the bin. The overall interior could do with a freshen up. The staff were really friendly and helpful.

Appears to be very popular for young families especially those not bothered by the potential for noise but perhaps less so for couples wanting a quiet weekend away. The location is amazing right in the landscape and fantastic for walking. The major drawback is the restaurant - nothing was ever hot enough but there are other options nearby, some of which one can walk to.

Set in a lovely peaceful / tranquil setting overlooking Loch Leven and amazing views looking up into Glen Coe.
Staff very friendly and helpful.
Plenty of car parking and a few points for EV’s.
Breakfast was a buffet style with was lovely.
The dinner menu was outstanding - throughly recommend the haunch of venison in a blackcurrant sauce.
Room very spacious with tv, tea/coffee facilities.

Amazing hotel and staff. Massive shout out to Tunder who went above and beyond to help us get the room we needed. You have renewed my faith in humanity!!
Kay, well so down to earth and so funny. You made us feel quite at home with our lively dog. Paula in the restaurant. You were so lovely and our dog really appreciated your attention as did we. Mutahara looked after us checking in and out. Cant believe you just started!! The chef whobcame out tonus when our young dog was barking. We now do the command that you did and ge responds. As first time dog owners and on our first holiday with him we appreciated all the help we could get!
You are all wonderful. Oh and the actual location of the hotel is amazing and the rooms that open direct to the grounds is great if you have a dog.
