Kimpton BLYTHSWOOD SQUARE HOTEL & SPA by IHG, an IHG Hotel

Beautiful hotel and very friendly staff. Great food in the restaurant as well. The air conditioning was broken while we were there so the room was hot and stuffy but other than that we loved it.

Lage ist gut, ansonsten nicht 5Stern Standard. Zum Beispiel kein Haarföhn im Zimmer. Lärmpegel in Zimmer hoch, nicht von Strasse her, sondern vom Gang! Nettes, zuvorkommendes Personal!

A little disappointed I didn’t get a welcome drink and I did not want to ask for one, but it’s the first time I’ve stayed in a 5 star hotel and not been offered a welcome drink. I’d just come from the peninsula in London which was fabulous and was offered soft drinks and champagne on arrival there. But especially disappointing since I read other reviews seeing that they had gotten them. The staff were absolutely lovely, particularly the door staff who helped with luggage. I had to ring and ask where the iron was in the room, as there was an ironing board, told there was an iron in a drawer and there wasn’t. Had to wait a while for it to be sent up and ring down again as I was ironing a dress to go for dinner with friends. Over all, a beautiful hotel. The amenities in the room are a bit outdated (battered tresemme hairdryer and I borrowed a straightener which was an old ghd model) but I’m Justin

The staff, especially reception, at this property were exceptional.

The building and our room were very nice as was most of the staff. I was surprised there was no turn down service.

Arrived and discovered it was £27 in Q car park to park for the night, check in was easy enough, room was on the top floor 509, carpet along the way was badly stained upon entering the room it appeared clean and nice, we found clumps of hair in the shower upon further inspection although supposed easily missed as the shower is very dark, speaking of the shower it either dribbled out or came out full blast, the complementary mini bar was empty? Not even a can of pop, breakfast - was beautiful well served and plenty of choice, lovely waiting staff. Sadly wouldn’t return for the price it was we were expecting so much more.

Não me parece um hotel 5 estrelas. Tivemos que subir a escadaria da frente carregando as malas pois não havia nenhum funcionário naquele lugar. Na recepção, não ofereceram sequer um copo de água. Nosso quarto deveria ser premium mas pareceia um depósito. Nos colocaram num quarta onde precisamos descer um lance de escadas (não tinha elevador para esse local), tinha uma porta ao lado do quarto que abriam e fechavam a noite inteira nos prejudicando dormir. Pedimos pra trocar de quarto mas informaram que o hotel estava lotado! O quarto tem um pé direito baixo dando a sensação de aperto ainda maior! Por duas vezes no cafe da manhã encontramos um fio de cabelo na comida! Foi uma tragédia! Viajamos sempre com hoteis categoria superior e esse foi péssimo! Reclamei no check out e pediram desculpe! Ponto final! Não recomendo!
