The Inn in the Mile is the perfect location, next to a taxi hub, and located at the half point on the Mile. Very clean, the food was great, all was comfortable, and our every need was met by friendly and professional staff. Highly recommend the breakfast package to start your day with no fuss and delicious a la carte menu to order from. Stephen was especially kind and accommodating, and made our stay an absolute pleasure, along with the rest of the staff. If I visit Edinburgh again, and I will as it is a beautiful city, I will absolutely stay here again! Superb!

Amazing location and beautiful hotel. Rooms were great along with the restaurant. The staff was also extremely friendly and helpful.

Lively and lovely pub with a live acoustic set on the Friday we arrived. Staff were very nice too. All together a very pleasant stay and I definitely would return

Different checkin experience as it’s in the bar but don’t let this sway you, the staff are amazing, the food was great and entertainment every night was really good with it ending by midnight never kept us up! Anything you need they were there to please even taking your luggage up stairs for you and only 9 rooms! Loved this central right on the Royal Mile location is prime!!

Just had breakfast there once,which was okay.
The double room was quite nice. I was on my own though and I think it would have been a bit of a squash for 2 people.
The downstairs area was pub like so a bit disappointing that there wasn’t a lounge for my friend and I to spend time together in the evening ( who was also staying there)
That’s probably something we should have realised though.
The staff were very friendly and helpful.
One of them carried our luggage up the steep stairs which was good.
Very handy for sightseeing etc.

This is a unique hotel in a fabulous location. However it is three rooms to a floor and has nine floors but NO elevator!!! We were assigned a room on the 9th floor! However the bar staff assisted us with all our luggage.

Vi fik et stort og lækkert indrettet værelse med udsigt til the Royal Mile. Værelset og resten af hotellet var til den kolde side, men det var også i slutningen af November og årets første sne faldt.
Pubben i stueetagen serverer god mad og drikke og serverer også en solid morgenmad.

Great location and extremely accessible to the whole area. Coupled with the hop-on Hop-off system was great to explore.
The Inn was very helpful with relocating to the first floor above the restaurant after the first night. A knee replacement was prohibitive above that. Staff was great! And, breakfast was the best. Akso, best lattes in town.

Great location right in the center of the action on the Royal Mile. Somehow, it was very quiet overnight! Beautiful old building that looks like it was a bank at one time. Good restaurant on the first floor, had a good breakfast, afternoon snack/ drinks, live music in the evenings til 10:30. Room was very comfortable, a tad small, spacious bathroom with good shower and heated towel rack. Staff was helpful and took our bags upstairs. One caveat, there are no elevators, so you may be walking up 2 or 3 floors to get to your room.

Great boutique hotel that is within a 10-minute walk from the bus station and located on the Royal Mile. Centrally located to all of the sites. Our room was spacious and loved the large bathroom. Great breakfast selection and staff were very friendly. Highly recommend this hotel yet you need to be able to do stairs as there are no elevators at this location.

Great place to walk around and see the sights. We were heading to the whisky experience and it was an easy walk on the mile. Great cafes and pubs everywhere you look. Very busy with pedestrians so don’t drive of you don’t have to.
