We stayed in The Barn for a couple of nights, a wonderful house , very comfortable, plenty of space.
It was a little cold, and did take a while to heat up after we turned the heat on.
One thing to note, there are no instructions on how to use the beautiful Falcon stove. Maybe a simple sign in the kitchen , with the basic instructions please, for those like us who have no experience with this type of stove.
Beautiful place, away from everything. It looks like you are inside a fairytale. The access road to the cabin is difficult if you have a car that is low, but manageable. Fraser and Eleanor made our stay very special.
Two night stay in the River Cabin. The cabin looked just like the pictures and we really enjoyed our stay. The host also went above and beyond by leaving Prosecco, crisps and milk in the cabin, which was a nice touch. The surrounding area is quiet and the cabin is nice and secluded with a view into the forrest. I would definitely recommend staying at the River Cabin.
A couple of points to note that I wasn’t aware of, though weren’t a big issue for us - I couldn’t pick up any WiFi in the cabin, we downloaded movies on Netflix when we went for dinner. The cabin also doesn’t have blinds/curtains on the back door or roof window so light comes in from around 4am.
