The Mumum

This is an old Korean-style, and it will ne a truly memorable experience. Instead of Western-style elevated beds, guests sleep on traditional layered floor pads over a warm heated floor—comfortable, cozy, and an authentic touch of Korean culture. The morning Korean-style breakfast should include fresh fruit, rice cakes, and boiled eggs. It was simple but delicious and thoughtfully prepared. Overall, a unique and unforgettable stay that I would gladly recommend to anyone looking to experience traditional Korean living.

Très jolie chambre et très joli hanok. Le couple qui accueille et sert le petit-déjeuner le matin est vraiment charmant et prêt à tout pour aider. La chambre était très propre et plutôt claire. Petit-déjeuner très bon avec de nombreux fruits. J'ai passé un très bon séjour.

お部屋も綺麗でした。 朝食も、とても美味しかったです。 なによりスタッフ（御夫婦）とても親切でした。

A delightful stay with the hosts and fun Korean style breakfast. The property is very difficult to find with no English signage even with the KakaoMap app. Mat beds on the foor and no seating except the mat, cluttered courtyard area. Not comfortable if you are not used to sleeping and sitting on the floor. Excellent position in the historical village

부모님 보내드렸는데, 변기와 샤워기 붙어있는 화장실이 매우 좁고 불편하셨대요. 방문 열면 망창이 없어 모기가 들어와서 잠도 못 주무시고 원래 2박인데 1박 포기하시고 올라오셨네요. 사진과 평점만 보고서 선택하는 것은 오류가 있네요. 아마도 외국인용 유스호스텔인가 봅니다.

I had an incredible stay at the MumMum. The kind Emo who owns this hanok home was so kind and warm. I loved her breakfast in the mornings and she set me up as soon as I arrived with sights to see and restaurants to eat at. Her hanok is located on a quiet alley just around the corner from the main thoroughfare. I can’t wait to go back again. Jeonju is magical. Thank you, Emo for a beautiful stay!

Had such a lovely stay! The hosts were warm and welcoming, and the healthy breakfast each morning was a real treat. The neighborhood is beautiful and easy to explore, and it was quiet at night—perfect for a good sleep. They really make you feel at home!

Beautiful old hanok, very welcoming owners who spoke almost no English but were able to convey their meaning. There is no English signage on the gateway to the courtyard but Googlemaps led me there easily. I was able to leave my bag in advance of check in and the owner provided a map of Jeonju and helpfully circled points of interest. Room was clean and comfy with the underfloor heating. Ensuite wetroom. Communal room available to guests with free tea/coffee. Be aware walls are very thin and you can hear people talking quietly in adjoining rooms. Breakfast was served to my room on a tray with lots of lovely fresh fruit, rice cakes etc. When I checked out, I was able to leave my bag again to pick up later, when I did the enthusiastic female owner even gave me a hug goodbye. Very pleasant stay. Great location in the heart of the old town although it is a few blocks to walk from the bus stop.

Beautiful cozy hanok! The owners are the sweetest people ever ❤️ Very kind and helpful! The hanok is very well equipped: from air conditioner to floor heater. I definitely enjoyed my stay here. The breakfast is very traditional (sort of rice cake specialty -sweet-, fresh delicious fruits, boiled egg)… I would definitely stay again here if I come back to visit the city. Thank you so much for such warm welcome!

The couple owners are very nice and welcoming. The place was located inside the Hanok Village and right beside the shrine and very walkable distance to all important landmarks. There are plenty of cafes, restos and convenience stores nearby. They also serve really good traditional breakfasts!

A lovely stay with wonderful hosts and a lovely breakfast. The room was cozy and warm. The location is fantastic right in the village. It is a traditional hanok so you will be sleeping on a blanket on the floor so it is going to be hard compared to a mattress but in saying that we slept well.

Fantastic hosts, great location. We had 3 rooms booked, all very clean and well maintained. The location is central with all you need within close proximity. The in person experience is much better than the photos that are available online. The host couple is friendly and accommodating.

いつぞやみたく宿無しにならぬ様念入りに確認。その段階で宿主の人柄の良さは十二分に伝わっていたが、実際お会いすると更に素敵な御夫婦で感謝しかありません。大変親切な上にオリジナリティ溢れる施設、部屋もユニーク且つ広く素晴らしい☆　話題の朝食も大変美味しく量もたっぷり♪　是非とも再訪したい素敵なゲストハウスです☆　旧市街中心地までも直ぐ、立地までもがパーフェクトでした♪

Excellent spot situated in the middle of Jeonju Hanok Village. Great breakfast with plenty of fruit, rice cakes, and coffee provided by the lovely couple that owns the place. You also get discounts and benefits from a Hanbok rental shop that they recommend going to. The beds are traditional futons, so might not be ideal for some people. Check in is until around 6 or 7pm, but let them know if you need to check in later in the day. They will leave a note on the door to your room. The floor heating is plenty hot for the winter. Was simple ordering a taxi through Uber to/from the bus station.

시설에 대한 청결함은 보통이였으나 방음이 전혀되지 않아 너무 불편했고 주인 분께서 이른 시간부터 문을 자주 두드리시는 바람에 체크 아웃 시간 전까지 너무 정신 없었습니다. 투숙객의 생활 습관은 전혀 고려하지 않으신 점이 너무 불쾌했습니다. The cleanliness of the facility was normal, but it was so inconvenient because there was no sound insulation at all, and the owner opened the door early in the day It was so hectic until the check-out time because of the tapping. It was so unpleasant that you didn't consider the guest's lifestyle at all.

Hanok agradable, buena experiencia. Hay que considerar que hay que estar descalzo dentro del Hanok y que se duerme en futón en el suelo. La habitación tiene doble puerta y candado por lo que es segura y aisla un poco el ruido exterior. Tiene calefacción y el baño privado es de buen tamaño. El desayuno vale la pena y te lo entregan en la puerta de la habitación. Los anfitriones son muy agradables y serviciales.

가족여행으로 전주로 여행갔습니다.8살5살 딸과 늦은 시간도착했음에도 친절히 맞이해주셨습니다.청결하고 깔끔한 숙소 만족했고 위치도 한옥마을 중심부로 너무 좋습니다. 숙소가 매우 조용하고 편안했으며 아침 조식도 훌룡했습니다. 아이들이 다음에 또 방문하고 싶다고 합니다^^ 사장님 덕분에 즐거운 시간이었습니다. 감사합니다
