Good location, excellent and helpful staff. Our room had lots of space and a good shower and bathroom counter to get ready but poor lighting for doing hair/makeup. Having a kitchen area was great and the bed was comfortable with lots of extra cushions. We liked staying in the gothic quarter near las Rambla and walkable to other attractions. Would recommend this historic hotel.

We had a great experience, family of 4 with 2 teenagers. The roomie big enough and clean. Love that the hotel is in the local area so we experienced the real Barcelona life. The hotel is pricy but we were happy with our choice.

Absolutely Horrible Stay. Do Not Book Here. I stayed at this hotel for 3 nights and it was the worst experience of my life. On my last day, I discovered that my safe had been tampered with. I had locked it multiple times (I double-check constantly due to OCD), and yet when I went to check out, realized it was open. My $5,000 diamond ring and €1,000 in cash were stolen. When I reported this to management, they promised to call me back with an update but never did. It’s been over a week, and I’ve heard absolutely nothing. Their response at the time was dismissive and unprofessional — no concern, no investigation, no help. I already posted this review on Google, and the lack of follow-up confirms just how little they care about guests. On top of that, the hotel itself is the loudest and most chaotic place I’ve ever stayed. Guests were partying outside until 6–7 AM, and walls are paper-thin — you hear everything from other rooms. Sleep is impossible. Even when asking for something as simple as extra coffee pods, staff made me feel uncomfortable and unwelcome. The entire stay gave off a terrible, unsafe energy. Combine that with theft, cold service, and zero accountability, and it’s clear this property is not worth the money or risk. I spent 2.5 weeks in Spain staying at multiple hotels and never once had an issue — only here. If you value your belongings, your peace of mind, or even the chance of a decent night’s sleep, stay far away from this place.

Beautiful property in the best location far enough off LaRambla close enough to the museums awesome atmosphere!! Very clean rooms beautiful lighting.. great Square right behind the hotel ., The whole hotel smells so nice!

This property checked all the boxes from location to service to amenities to overall quality along with some unexpected special touches. We arrived early and were so thankful and appreciative of the early check-in. The hotel staff provided thoughtful recommendations throughout our stay. The overall condition of the property and our guestroom was excellent and felt very high-end, thoughtfully curated and luxurious! Highly recommend and will stay here again!

Lovely hotel. However walk or take a taxi. We drove our rented car and the streets are narrow, one way and awkward in many ways. Work on roads in old Barcelona that is inaccurately reflected in Google maps made this substantially worse. Even driving close to drop off luggage was effectively impossible. The location is central to everything but it’s off the busy street. The hotel is absolutely amazing and was more of an apartment with an amazing view! Walking distance to the beach, Rambla, and many other popular locations. The staff was on point and service was the BEST!! I’ve been to Barcelona numerous times and will stay here from now on.
