Avoid room 9323 if you want a lie in. Every morning @10:30 you get three hours of Ibiza rave music for the kids area. Plus French windows wouldn’t lock, shower riser was broken, and as someone who rarely gets ill, I got sick after 2 days(flu-like systems, chesty cough). lots of people appeared to have it. Best take your own pillows as probably imbedded in them

La estancia ha ido muy bien, muy atentos en cambiarnos de habitación ya que la primera nos la habían dado adaptada a personas con discapacidad. La atención de todo el mundo insuperable

Wir hatten schöne 6 Tage. Buffet lecker, man hat zwei zur Auswahl und findet somit jede Mahlzeit immer was das einem mega schmeckt!

Insgesamt angenehmer Aufenthalt, sehr freundliches Personal. Einrichtung ist ein bisschen in die Jahre gekommen, Lage ist suboptimal, unweit einer Industrieanlage und fern ab jeglicher Strände.

Barcelo Active resort is een leuk adres voor een verblijf in Lanzarote. Kamer zeer ruim, netjes, voldoende groot terras. Badkamer ook modern en ruim. Bedjes werden iedere dag opgemaakt door housekeeping, telkens een verse fles water, de badkamer gepoetst, heel nette verblijven! Minpunt badkamer: douchekoppen mochten wel eens extra gereinigd worden (zwart/schimmel in de sproeier) Heel groot hotel maar voelt op een manier toch niet zo aan. Voordeel: goeie akoestiek in de gemeenschappelijke ruimtes, altijd plaats voldoende gedurende de maaltijden, buffet was nooit leeg, voldoende gevarieerde maaltijden. Nadeel: te weinig zonnebedden aan het zwembad (vaak om 9u al een loopwedstrijd om zetels te bemachtigen), er speelt ‘s avonds muziek in de lounge en die was heel duidelijk en luid te horen in onze kamer (stopt wel steeds stipt om 21u30) Strand recht tegenover het hotel is echt top voor waterratten en zeeliefhebbers. Enige nadeel is dat het een echt steen/rotsstrand is. Dus je kan er niet echt gemakkelijk liggen zonnen of bijvoorbeeld spelen met kinderen. Er zijn wel zandstranden in de buurt op 20-30min stappen. Personeel is allemaal heel erg vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Van bij het inchecken, tot de mensen van het onderhoud, de keuken, animatie. Iedereen werkt er met een glimlach.

We booked this hotel last minute as the one we originally booked was awful and we couldn't get away fast enough! From the moment we arrived here we were made to feel very welcome and the staff were so helpful. The reception , pools areas, and bars were all really nice, however the corridors and lifts in our block looked as if they had missed the refurb! We had a junior suite and the bed in our our room as so comfortable I wish we could have taken it home. We had a sea view but could also see the power station from our balcony, this didn't really bother us too much however. Food was good for AI, good quality and always plenty of options. There was also a great selection of drinks, including branded spirits and we loved how the snacks at the pool bars were all individually packaged and stored in cabinets, not simply left on the side. We would definitely return to this hotel but probably choose a deluxe room on the quieter side of the hotel.

External grounds of the property are very well looked after and clean. In regards to rooms however not so good, we had black spots in our bathroom mirror (looked like mould) and beds were king but split in 2 so kept moving amytime you try to sleep. Great options for food and drinks as we went all inclusive with choice of restaurants in both parts of the hotel. Transportation wise bus stop is right outside the hotel entrance to take you to anywhere in the island. Overall good hotel, staff are freindly but rooms needs upgrading including beds.
