Barcelona Hotel is always our hotel of choice when in Barcelona. All its amenities are very nice, especially with the regular free shuttle to and from airport. Staff are very professional and accomodating.

Great pool area... a little to cool to swim, but we enjoyed the outdoor patio. Nice menu, had dinner and lovely wine. Staff was friendly. Shuttle to airport.

I really only stayed to wait for my next flight and fix the jet lag coming from the Americas, but the dinner and breakfast were fantastic, as appropriate for a foodie city such as Barcelona. Rooms were well equipped, amole and clean, and there was a free airport shuttle that went often (about every 20 minutes). As you check in they give you the schedule for the shuttle. Too far from the city to be your main Barcelona hotel in my opinion, but it was a great place with kind staff and good food as you travel. Definitely will stay again if my first European stop is BCN.

The food is terrible and overpriced. The restaurant staff were rude. The worst thing was the paper thin walls. We had 28 hours of travel/flights the next day and desperately needed sleep. We stayed at this location close to the airport hoping it would be good for travelers. Unfortunately we were woken up through everything from people speaking at a normal level in the hallway, people walking, slamming doors and even the next door neighbor having a coughing fit at 0500. It was like sleeping in a tent surrounded by other tents and being the only camper that actually wanted to sleep. The mattress was about as soft at the concrete sidewalk outside.

After I checked in I noticed that the toilet was constantly running. I informed the maid who was outside in the hall, I then informed the front desk 2x. Finally I just shut off the water when I wasn't using it. I can't imagine how much water they were waisting and for how long...

The property seemed nice but it is like old and ‘stripped down’. No cups in rooms or do they have any but have a teapot. No wash clothes. No Kleenex. Nothing in the room. No amenities. Then to top it off I used the shuttle service to airport and I had to lift my 2 bags in the back of the van and the van driver just stood there. I am in my mid 70’s and that is unacceptable. Do not recommend it. The walls are so thin you can hear people talking all around, flush toilets,and walking. Horrible!

The hotel is good and the people at the front desk very nice. Rooms and breakfast are fine. What was not so nice was the driver of the shuttle bus from the airport on Sunday afternoon May 17. It was a long wait and many people waiting. He did not care much. On the other hand the shuttle driver from the hotel to the airport on the morning of May 18 was very nice and helpful.

I spent very little time at this property but what I saw it was very neatly kept. Staff was very helpful on check in and check out. Room was spacious, very elegant and very clean. I didn't get the chance to try the breakfast. Very convenient to the airport with shuttle but a good 15-20 min drive to the center of Madrid.
