Great hotel, would stay again

Sehr schönes Hotel, schöne Zimmer, komfortabel. Leider nur von der Straße gar nicht isoliert in keinem Zimmer, sodass Geräusche leicht wahrzunehmen sind. Aber allgemein ein gutes Hotel. Und hervorragendes Frühstück.

What a great property!!! We booked a neighboring hotel and the A/C didn’t work at the other hotel. So, at the last minute we booked the Hotel Ronda and we were blown away. It had a resort feel to it that included a pool, a large room with a balcony, a full-scale professional gym, a free shuttle to the beaches and breakfast included. We would encourage everyone to stay here… it was fabulous!

The Rondo is quite possibly the friendliest hotel I’ve stayed in. We have stayed many times and enjoy seeing the friendly staff , the hotel has a lovely family feel, and the happy and friendly staff take a real pride in the place which shines through and is a real breath of fresh air. Jorge on reception is super efficient and can answer any question and resolve any issue with no fuss. The dining area is superb with top class food and a wonderful choice of food. The waiter Jose will ensure you feel Welcome and is always happy and a good laugh. Special mention to Gihan on the bar. Very very friendly and helpful lots of good holiday advise and invaluable local knowledge and always cheerful, and nothing ever too much. The lovely lady who ran the animation was lovely too and worked hard to involve people in the evening events. 10/10 on service and value for money The Rondo is unbeatable. We will be back !!!

Excellent hotel, spacious room, all have balconies. We had a room overlooking the pool and distance sea views from the 5th floor. Food was lovely with plenty to choose from. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. It was great to have a full size fridge and kettle in the room. The hotel was very clean. Highly recommended. I wouldn't hesitate to book again. Thank you to all the staff work hard.

Ab und zu wurde das Zimmer nicht sauber gemacht, manchmal wurde vergessen, Handtücher nachzulegen, die Bettwäsche während 13 Tagen nicht gewechselt.

Ik was er 4 jaar geleden ook,alles was prima. Dit keer hoorde ik dat alle kamers waren verbouwd : geen bidet meer in de badkamer,alleen een oude kleine koffieapparaat,geen borden en bestek,geen kookplaat en magnetron meer, dit is een duidelijke achteruitgang van de faciliteiten. Verder de maaltijden ( buffet avond en ontbijt) zeer gevarieerd,heerlijk en in overvloed!! Niets daarover te klagen. Zeer vriendelijk en attent personeel. Schoonmakers waren echt schatjes en gezellig! Groot min punt: waardeloze internet, nauwelijks verbinding en dat je ook nog 5 euro per dag betaald op je kamer!!! Ik ga volgend jaar nog zeker terug.

It is due an updating, everything was great. I guess the prices are low and I need to consider that, but definitely is not a 4star hotel

Ell hotel no se corresponde para nada a las cuatro estrellas que supuestamente tiene. Calidad del servicio, de las comidas y del personal muy decepcionante. Un hotel que necesita una severa reforma y mejora en todos los sentidos. Fuimos con un todo incluido, y se trató de un verdadero engaño, ya que sólo muy pocas bebidas estaban incluidas en el sistema, y nada de comida o que picar entre las comidas principales. Para nada aconsejable!!

Lo mejor la calidad/variedad de la comida y la atención de todo el personal en general. A veces se oye demasiado la música del complejo anexo. Hacen falta más sombrillas en.la zona de piscina.

We spent a week in the Rondo hotel. The staff were very friendly and attentive. The rooms were spacious and with facilities that we found very useful for a beach holiday, such as an empty fridge (not a mini-bar) and coffee-making facilities. Location-wise, there is little to fault. It is very close to the Yumbo centre and only a leisurely 15 min walk to the start of the sandy trail to the beach (the hotel offers a shuttle service, but we did not use it). Where we found the hotel really lacking was in the food. There wasn't a good choice and there clearly was plenty of "creative recycling" from one day to the next. I particularly missed a variety in the fresh fruit offering. After a few days, we found eating in the hotel a bit of a chore. We have been to other hotels in the area of the same star category where the food offering was much better. The other thing we found surprising was the fact that the rooms were not cleaned daily. In our one week stay, the room was not done twice, although towels were changed whenever required. This is a bit of budget holiday destination and so things have to be assessed from that perspective. Still, I'm not sure not cleaning the rooms daily is acceptable in this day and age. Anyway, overall the holiday was good, the sun shone everyday and the hotel staff were truly friendly and attentive. Would we go back to the Rondo? We wouldn't exclude it totally, but it won't be top of the list.
