Overall, I think this hotel met our needs, but I wouldn't stay again. The location truly can't be beat, and it was in an absolutely lovely area. The staff were kind and helpful. Our room overall was fine; it was the bathroom that was a bit disappointing. One of the two sliding doors was broken, so the shower couldn't be closed all the way, and there was hair on the shower wall from a previous guest. The room met our needs, and we only stayed one night. If the bathroom had been better cleaned/maintained, I wouldn't have a single complaint!

The location was great with plenty of things to do nearby. Several food/dining options for every taste. The room could use some work / repair (seemed like water damage on the roof / next to the vents). The safe didnt work and the bed kept moving around because it wasnt fixed to the headboards.

The staff was MAGNIFICENT! Friendly, attentive and helpful. Very knowledgeable! We arrived early and they did accommodate us into a room right away. It was what we ordered,vtwo double beds with a City view. All that was very good. The bad part the mattress was absolutely horrible. When the window was open all you get was the smell of cigarette smoke coming in. My view was of the church that was torn down and currently being rebuilt. When I wanted to go upstairs to the rooftop to have my morning coffee, I was informed that the pool area was closed. It was off season and no one was allowed on top. That was very upsetting to me. I was not there to swim in a pool but to take in the beauty of the city's view. My suggestion is, spend a little money and buy some NEW mattresses. The rooftop should not be off limits because it's only seasonal. Rooftops offer beautiful views of the city landscape. It should be cherished and used. Add some table and chairs and let your visitors enjoy the city views Imagine being able to enjoy a the gorgeous Madrid sunset. WHAT A WASTE OF SPACE!

My friend and I stayed to explore Madrid and we made the perfect choice. The room was spacious, we slept great, and it was incredibly clean. Then we treated ourselves to breakfast and it exceeded our expectations, there was everything we needed, and it was delicious. The staff was also very friendly. Highly recommended!
