Hotel Rey Sancho Palencia

I was a bit disappointed with the hotel and would describe it average at best. The hotel pool is a nice asset if a little cold. The bathroom wasn't the cleanest and the drains made the whole room smell somewhat if the door was left open. The covers on the beds were also dirty. The staff were friendly.

The staff were very rude throughout the stay from front of house to the bar. I felt unsafe in the hotel. There was a gentleman who followed the younger girls around and when it was mentioned to the hotel staff they said he hasn't done anything. However, he was following them around up to their hotel room floor and they were afraid. One day we went for bar food at 4.01 pm but they wouldn't serve food as they said kitchen closed at 4pm. There was no food in the evening when needed after returning from a dance competition. I couldn't sleep, the walls are paper thin and I could hear people in the next room talking. This is not 4 star. I would not be recommending to any of my family or friends either!

Excellent accueil par la personne à la réception qui dans un français parfait nous a indiqué les sites et nous a fourni la documentation complète des choses à faire. Les hôtels de la chaîne sercotel restent une valeur sûre.

Should of known before we arrived there it was likely to be bad. The only good thing was the location and handy parking. On arriving in the hotel we were greeted with a somewhat grumpy individual who struggled speaking Spanish never mind English. He sent us up to the fourth floor even though i said 5th floor in both Spanish and English but he was insistant that room 508 was on the 4th floor. When we arrived on the 5th floor after trying the 4th floor the key did not work. We went down to replace the key to be told we were wrong. The noise levels at night from the other rooms and the bathroom plumbing is terrible. The rooms are very poorly finished with windows that don't close properly, meaning we slept in a draft all night causing my wife to get a flu. The stench of food in the room mainly the bathroom was overwhelming. There was also a problem with the toilet flushing in this very dirty bathrrom. We had been travelling solid for 6 hours so decided to proceed to the restaurant to get food to be told it was reservations only. I could go on with much more about dirty soiled carpets, curtains and general decor but won't bother as it fell on deaf ears. The same individual that greeted us couldn't be bothered to get up off his chair when we were leaving, very much a case of we have your money and F**k you

Buen hotel para visitar Palencia , camas cómodas , muy oimpiobuen desayuno , se puede aparcar cerca ,lo único negativo q tenía una columna en medio de la habitacion

Bien. El suelo de la bañera de la ducha era muy resbaladizo. Necesita una capa de antideslizante o una esterilla. Puede haber un accidente.

Creemos es un hotel para invertir dinero si le quieren llamar 4 estrellas. A la vez en recepción bastante secos y ni una sonrisa al recibirnos y marchar.

Buena. El hotel esta bien, aunque creo ha teñido tiempos mejores. El personal muy bien. Tranquilo, fácil aparcamiento y desayuno normal

Fuimos a Palencia de viaje con amigas y elegimos este hotel por dos razones; 1) ubicación y 2) piscina. El hotel cumple con las expectativas pero las instalaciones/habitaciones están bastante viejas y el desayuno fue un poco decepcionante porque cuando bajamos no quedaba prácticamente nada y los camareros no sacaban más comida (a pesar de que quedaban 45 minutos de desayuno).

Habitación correcta, cama muy cómoda. El baño necesita una actualización. La piscina es pequeña pero suficiente para refrescarte. Cerca del centro andando. Personal 10.

Hôtel correct. Petit déjeuner dont la qualité reste moyenne malgré un choix varié. Personnel agréable et à disposition. Gros bémol : climatisation qui ne fonctionnait pas dans notre chambre.

Para nada 4 estrellas

Pleasant hotel, very friendly staff, good place for a stop over to or from Santander ferry. Wifi didn't reach our room.

Ideal place for overnight stay

Hotel con instalaciones antiguas. Habitaciones aunque reformadas necesitan mantenimiento. Desayuno con poca variedad. Precio elevado para este tipo de hotel.

Todo estupendo sobre todo la atención del personal, entre otras cosas, nos facilitaron aparcat en la misma puerta del hotel. Buena habitacion y un desayuno muy completo. Volveremos
