I absolutely loved the location of this hotel - it was right in the heart of everything and the balcony room was awesome to step out and be a part of the hustle and bustle. There were actually two balcony areas because we had a corner area. The only thing I would mention is that they did not have Air Conditioning - only heat. So coming from Minnesota, we tend to handle the cold a little better but the saving grace to our initially hot room was opening the doors to the balconies to cool the room off. Plus we had our travel fans. But other than that, the room was small but very cute and had everything we needed. Again - very pleased! We didn't eat the breakfast but our friend did and said it was REALLY good! I definitely recommend this hotel!

Everything was nice except and the staff was great. Unable to regulate temp, mattresses are horrible and the the noise is unreal. No sleep the entire stay and my wife and I are not overly picky. Great location

No AC, the room was really hot, you can hear people from the plaza talking and screaming “police help” (ALL NIGHT). You can hear the cathedral bells every 30 minutes. We did not sleep at all; thank God we just stayed 1 night.

I loved the location — it’s within walking distance to Barcelona Cathedral and all the main sights. The breakfast buffet was incredible, and everything was super clean. They also provide little essentials that really help, especially when losing one of your bags, like a toothbrush, toothpaste, and a hair dryer. The room also had hangers, a safe, and a TV, which made the stay even more comfortable. The balcony is amazing. The only downside was the weekend noise, which could be heard until around 4 a.m., but closing the balcony doors helps a lot. I would definitely stay here again.

Cozy hotel in great location. Smaller property without the crush of large crowds, but in the middle of a vibrant, attractive neighborhood. Staff couldn’t have been more courteous and welcoming - we enjoyed every interaction with them. Tasty breakfast buffet well worth the price. When I’m back in Barcelona I’ll be back at Hotel Suizo.

The breakfast was good and the people were very friendly but the location was very noisy due to a subway entrance right outside. Also there was a persistent lack sewer smell in our bathroom. We actually left ten days early. It was clean and for a short stay it would have been ok.

The location is excellent for exploring Barcelona. The hotel, while basic, is impeccably clean, staff friendly and helpful. Breakfasts were good. Why only 3 stars? We booked this hotel believing it had a restaurant and a bar on site. Upon arrival, we learned that they are "under construction". There is no place to get tea or coffee after breakfast hours and no kettle in the room. Real glasses rather than disposable ones would be an easy upgrade. Overall, we loved our Barcelona experience. The hotel staff and its location certainly contributed to it.
