Hotel basico pero bien situado.

Noise till very late in night as my room was just above the pub which may or may not be part of the hotel

Only to fix the elevator as there was one operating and the hotel was full

El hotel está remodelado y ha quedado muy bien

The location was great, room was small but fine. Asked for extra pillows told none available, also we both got bitten a lot by mosquitos, we killed lots and evidence of other guests doing the same splattered over the walls so obviously they have a problem.

L’ampiezza della stanza, lo spazio per appendere i vestiti, il silenzio e la sala colazione. Atmosfera molto accogliente.

Die Zimmer waren sehr sauber und für die zentrale Lage sehr ruhig , das Personal war sehr hilfsbereit und freundlich, Frühstücksbuffet war reichlich und wurde immer aufgefüllt, es gab jeden Tag verschiedene , frische Obstsorten, der Kaffee vom Automaten war sehr gut. die Lage so nahe der Altstadt ist super , zum Bahnhof und zum Flughafen fuhren wir mit dem Taxi .

Great location, in good condition and well presented hotel. Would stay there again as terrific value. Walkable to all main attractions and shopping/nightlife.

The room was clean and fairly spacious. There was an area to hang your clothes with a full length mirror. The staff were very welcoming and friendly. The shower had great pressure but could be temperamental with finding the right temperature. Only real downside was that the room could get a little drafty in the evenings and there wasn’t any heating in the room but extra blankets are available at the front desk. There are also no amenities provided e.g. toothpaste so remember to bring these.

Check in eine Ewigkeit gedauert. Dazu hatten wir ein Zimmer für schwer Behinderte, eine Katastrophe und zu laut.

Possibly the noisiest hotel I’ve ever stayed in. The room (237) is on second floor above a bar. Window is shut and I can hear conversations from down below. This goes on right through the night even when the bar is closed. It’s ridiculously loud, it’s as if the window is open which it isn’t, so you can then imagine the noise from traffic (engine, beeping, sirens) as well as the drunken people. Put that together with the noise from the room above- geeze, banging and bumps and talking, and when they walk around their room, the noise in my room is so loud. I also feel bad for the people below me as the noise on my floor when I walk across it must be so loud for them. I always travel with earplugs, and this is the only hotel that I’ve still be woken up repeatedly (whilst wearing them). I am in a party of four people, with four separate rooms (211, 237, 239 & 241), and we all agree that’s it’s by far the noisiest hotel we’ve been to. Did I mention the slamming doors from hallway? The management should stay a few nights in these rooms to experience what a nights stay is really like here - it is not relaxing. It seems that reviews going back years mention the poor soundproofing and the hotel’s responses suggest they’ll look into this to improve the experience for guests, but in reality, I’m not sure anything has been done or will be done.
