We've stayed at the Hotel Don Miguel many times over the last few years. We stayed here this time for 7 nights half board (breakfast and dinner, drinks not included) We like the hotel, it has a good feel to it. It's a very busy & often full occupancy hotel, which must be a great plus for Servatur Hotels & Resorts. We love the adults only concept. The cleanliness of the hotel everywhere is good. The food is always good and the staff are helpful and friendly (Patrick is very friendly) Nice spacious rooms & bathrooms, although we would say the bathrooms in particular would now benefit from a renovation (The hotel is due to be fully renovated in 2027, which we believe is definitely due) Overall a good hotel, great location and good food, lots of options at the buffet for a 3 star Hotel. The A la Carte Restaurant in the bar is a nice touch too if you're bored of the buffet (you can book this once during your stay) Our main observation is that some areas of the hotel now require a renovation. Built in 1974 & acquired by Riu Hotels & Resorts in 1990, it was then partially renovated. Again in 2012 by Riu Hotels. Its definitely due a refurbishment now. We just hope they don't remove some of the amenities when it's refurbished, like the fridges in the rooms & the free safe. We had a couple of problems in our room whilst we stayed here. The ceiling fan broke, as did the shower head & both were fixed & replaced straight away. Overall great value at the moment.

The location is amazing and very central, the room was quiet. I loved the breakfast selection and fresh food with so much variety. Staff was lovely and friendly. The a/c worked well. Only the coffee was horrible but this usually happens in hotels. If they fix that it's a 10/10.

Eccomi qui ancora una volta a recensire il mio soggiorno(questa volta di 15 giorni). Come voi già sapete la struttura è meravigliosa molto economica per ciò che offre, il personale è stato molto buono, disponibile e gentile è pronto a risolvere le esigenze dei clienti, camere molto spaziose ben curate e pulite molto bene, colazione e cena a buffet dove c'è l'imbarazzo della scelta visto che c'è di tutto, piscina accogliente con molti lettini, ed asciugamani dati dalla struttra come altri oggetti in dotazione(gratuiti), palestra, bar a bordo piscina, jacuzy, camere dotate di cassa forte digitale (il servizio è gratis)in pratica il cliente ha tutto per passare un ottimo soggiorno.

An aging property badly in need of updating! Rooms are small and often noisy. Plumbing can be a bit dodgy. Location is great. Breakfast is very disorganised and it often took as long to get all that I wanted for breakfast as it did to eat. Also, breakfast time is advertised as “until 10:30am”, but they don’t mention that at 10:30 staff put off the restaurant lights and start to make guests feel very unwelcome.

El check-in fue normal, pero me parecía que había demasiada información de horarios, normativas y avisos. Fue difícil encontrar la habitación. Estaba muy lejos de la recepción, y fue necesario subir/bajar escaleras con equipaje. Las toallas son tan finas y de las peores que he tenido en un hotel. Las sábanas no eran el tamaño adecuado para la cama y quedaban cortas. Era imposible meter las sábanas por los pies, y tener sábana para arroparse. Tuvimos media pensión, y tanto los desayunos como las cenas, todo estaba muy bueno y había mucha variedad. Se agradecería poder pedir una botella de vino y guardarlo de un día al otro.

Veldig fint hotell, fint uteområdet med basseng. Fine rom med AC. Husk å send mail til resepsjonen att du vil ha balkong med utsikt mot bassengområdet. Ellers kan du ende opp med en av rommene i 1.etg ved siden av resepsjonen.

I’ve stayed at this hotel several times on consecutive years. It’s a great location, comfortable and clean, adult only , great pool bar and excellent food. However the rooms are starting to show their age. Mould was present in the bathroom and around the bath. The shower head wouldn’t remain in position. And water dripped from a vent above the toilet. The buffet breakfast is good value and provides good options. Unfortunately the coffee was nearly undrinkable and has definitely gone downhill over the years. That said, the hotel facilities for guests is good and the as I said the food is amazing! It’s in a great location for access to the Yumbo and great value in terms of what you get value for money.

Nice Hotel close to tge Yumbo Centre a big Shopping Area during the day and full of bars and entertainment club as venues and eating places at night . One negative the lay out of the floors and rooms is strange in the Don Miguel Hotel 🏨 its a huge Hotel..but No first floor in the reception area you have to walk up a flight then manoeuvre around the passage ways and metal stairs outside 😀

Das Hotel ist sichtlich in die Jahre gekommen, was man an abgenützten Möbeln und Böden sieht. Mein Zimmer war sehr laut, man hörte unter anderem die Anlieferung, die Musik vom Poolbereich und jedes Wort und jeden Schritt vom Gang. Die Bitte um einen Zimmerwechsel wurde nicht erfüllt. Das Frühstück ist ok, viel Auswahl, nicht überall Top-Qualität, Kaffee nur aus Automaten. Die Lage ist gut. Für mich hat das Verhältnis Preis/Leistung nicht wirklich übereingestimmt.

Das Zimmer war gepflegt und sauber und hatte einen großen Balkon. Das Personal des Hotels ist freundlich und aufmerksam. Die Buffets zum Frühstück und Abendessen sind abwechslungsreich. Als Vegetarier wünsche ich mir, dass angebotenen Produkte und Speisen als vegetarisch oder vegan gekennzeichnet sind.

Feels a bit harsh not to give it as what I going to moan about really can't be helped It's situated on a main road so being on the balcony can be noise and down by the pool you are getting fumes from the road. It's centre based tho so to be expected. Room was great and clean - didn't find it dated like some suggest. Plenty of sun loungers and staff especially housekeeping where very friendly. Suppose the question is would I go back there and the answer is yes. Supposedly a star rating lower to a local hotel within the same brand. You wouldn't know it. 👏 Breakfast was the buffet was all know and love these days.
