I was looked after so well by the friendly welcoming staff. All of them were genuinely interested in the guests comfort and experience. They remembered little things like how I took my coffee, what room I'm in; so many things I only had to ask once and they took care of it from then on. outstanding. Must be very near the top of it's class.

Location - Nice location. Pretty close to all the famous restaurants like Kai, Thileni. Beach right in front of the property gives a private beach vibe. Rooms - Clean, comfortable & spacious rooms. Sea view room has got a balcony and a beautiful view of the ocean and the beach. Pool - Nice big clean pool with some games available. Food - Restaurant besides the pool serves good food. Breakfast was a big spread and really good. Wifi - Free wifi provided was a bit slow. But they had the option of buying high speed internet. Staff - Staff was good. Always smiling, warm & friendly. They helped us with our bags. Check in & checkout experience was pretty smooth. Parking space - Parking space was available for a big car. We had a toyota hiace.

Great location, the hotel is just on the marshmellow beach. the exterior of the hotel is beautiful but the rooms are a bit old. Shower is good with hot water all day. Breakfast is average and having lunch to dinner in the hotel works be a mistake due to the cost effective restaurants outside

The first room’s ac wasn’t working and when it did come on it was extremely loud. I upgraded and the room was fine but it did appear that there were ants living in the mirror as dust from the ants burrowing appeared. It was a nice place overall for the price, breakfast was good, pool good and staff are nice and helpful.

I stayed at Inside Resort Ahangama for one night and was pleasantly surprised. Despite some signs of the building being a bit tired, everything else was excellent. The location is fantastic, service top-notch, and the rooms are spacious with lovely balconies and a great ocean view. For the price, it’s definitely worth it, and I’d stay again.

We had a great 6 days at this lovely hotel. Location perfect and easy to take a walk or short tuk tuk ride to town. Lovely clean pool and situated right on the beach. Had an excellent albeit expensive massage - can recommend. Nice touch with short teaser massage on arrival. Very friendly staff apart from one older pool attendant who was not ! Can recommend next door beach cafe Pop Eye - nice food and staff! Only downside was one of our deluxe rooms was certainly not deluxe - and had no view at all - we managed to swap this but not for first night and no compensation given at all for this which was really bad considering the price of the room and length of our stay! They could have at least given some free drinks or massage as compensation. Also breakfast buffet lacked variation but was fine. If the drinks and food prices were more reasonable then more people would use the hotel in the evenings. But very expensive so we went elsewhere . Despite high cost can recommend this hotel .

This a nice property with staff that tries very hard. Pros- we started with a really nice welcome drink and our room had an awesome view (very small deck) and a very comfy bed with nice pillows. The shower works well and has a lot of hot water. The pool is lovey. Great yoga room and yoga instructor. We went for a massage and that was delightful, the masseuse is wonderful. Pool is great and they have nice pool towels. They provide 2 litres of water a day (plastic) and the breakfast is really nice though repetitive. We had dinner 2x in the hotel and the food is fresh and tasty. Cons- first time since we have been in Sri Lanka (over 18 locations) that we receive and email that if you want anything more than Internet to communicate, you have to pay extra. Luckily we had data because the wifi was totally useless. Not something to cheap out on in a big resort. Also the yoga mats and the outdoor sun bed mats were horrible, torn, stained and dirty which was really unfortunate. We also had tears in our bedsheets. Also, in other resorts in Sri Lanka they provide drinking water in glass bottles they clean and reuse because this resort must be using a ton of plastic. For the price of a stay, they really need to put a bit more funds in to the property.

We were absolutely delighted with our first 4 nights at the Hotel so much so that we decided to return for 3 extra nights later in our trip. The staff are a credit to the hotel always happy and helpful they made us feel special. The food was very good quality and value . The pool area was cleaned many times during the day and the towels clean large and plentiful. We will definitely return on our next visit to Sri Lanka.

Rey warm welcome, got a head and shoulders massage on arrival, got a complementary fruit dish to the room and during check out got coconut rock these I did not get in a 5 star hotel that I stayed the night before at yala, the crew were very friendly, courteous, willing to help, and very accommodating, very nice receptionist

Jeg booket 2 netter fordi jeg ønsket et bra hotell å bo på i julen. Hotellet er dyrt, så jeg ble skikkelig skuffet da jeg ankom og de ba meg betale ekstra 50USD «because its christmas» for tjenester jeg hverken trenger eller ønsker. I tillegg var det ekstra kostnader for frokost. At hotellet arrangerer underholdning og julemiddag, bør det være slik at de som benytter seg at det betaler for det. Oh det stod ikke noe om denne ekstra kostnaden på nettsiden og jeg fikk ikke avbrutt oppholdet. Dessuten lå rommet mitt tett på restauranten, så det var mye bråk fra restauranten til rommet. Og musikken de spilte i restauranten var så høy at jeg hørte den inn på rommet. Positivt: jeg benyttet meg av laundry og det var bra. Raskt og rent. Veldig bra. Hotellet bar preg at det er gammelt og slitt. Bra med vann i dusjen. Positivt. Så synes hotellet er for dyrt i forhold til hva du får.

This a nice property with staff that tries very hard. Pros- we started with a really nice welcome drink and our room had an awesome view (very small deck) and a very comfy bed with nice pillows. The shower works well and has a lot of hot water. The pool is lovey. Great yoga room and yoga instructor. We went for a massage and that was delightful, the masseuse is wonderful. Pool is great and they have nice pool towels. They provide 2 litres of water a day (plastic) and the breakfast is really nice though repetitive. We had dinner 2x in the hotel and the food is fresh and tasty. Cons- first time since we have been in Sri Lanka (over 18 locations) that we receive and email that if you want anything more than Internet to communicate, you have to pay extra. Luckily we had data because the wifi was totally useless. Not something to cheap out on in a big resort. Also the yoga mats and the outdoor sun bed mats were horrible, torn, stained and dirty which was really unfortunate. We also had tears in our bedsheets. Also, in other resorts in Sri Lanka they provide drinking water in glass bottles they clean and reuse because this resort must be using a ton of plastic. For the price of a stay, they really need to put a bit more funds in to the property.

We were absolutely delighted with our first 4 nights at the Hotel so much so that we decided to return for 3 extra nights later in our trip. The staff are a credit to the hotel always happy and helpful they made us feel special. The food was very good quality and value . The pool area was cleaned many times during the day and the towels clean large and plentiful. We will definitely return on our next visit to Sri Lanka.

Rey warm welcome, got a head and shoulders massage on arrival, got a complementary fruit dish to the room and during check out got coconut rock these I did not get in a 5 star hotel that I stayed the night before at yala, the crew were very friendly, courteous, willing to help, and very accommodating, very nice receptionist

Jeg booket 2 netter fordi jeg ønsket et bra hotell å bo på i julen. Hotellet er dyrt, så jeg ble skikkelig skuffet da jeg ankom og de ba meg betale ekstra 50USD «because its christmas» for tjenester jeg hverken trenger eller ønsker. I tillegg var det ekstra kostnader for frokost. At hotellet arrangerer underholdning og julemiddag, bør det være slik at de som benytter seg at det betaler for det. Oh det stod ikke noe om denne ekstra kostnaden på nettsiden og jeg fikk ikke avbrutt oppholdet. Dessuten lå rommet mitt tett på restauranten, så det var mye bråk fra restauranten til rommet. Og musikken de spilte i restauranten var så høy at jeg hørte den inn på rommet. Positivt: jeg benyttet meg av laundry og det var bra. Raskt og rent. Veldig bra. Hotellet bar preg at det er gammelt og slitt. Bra med vann i dusjen. Positivt. Så synes hotellet er for dyrt i forhold til hva du får.
