I enjoyed my stay here so much! I had a beautiful view via my terrace, facing the mountains. Hotel cleans rooms every day and does a wonderful job. Breakfast was very fancy and delicious. The elevators were super efficient - I never shared an elevator with anyone and always got one within 10 seconds. Interlaken ost is a 13 minute walk, Interlaken west an 8 minute walk. They also give you an Interlaken card for travel nearby. The only thing I wish is that there was laundry services available on site. Other than that, if I find myself in Interlaken again I will 100% rebook! Thank you all!

Hidden gem! It’s a standard 4 star hotel but the view of the Eiger & Jungfrau mountains is the best! I stayed at room number 113 (level 3) and 021(level 2) both have an amazing view of the mountains. But of course the higher the better. Spacious room and very practical. They recently refurbished almost 80% of the rooms so the pictures in hotels.com portal is the old one. The one I uploaded is their room after refurbishment. Worth every penny I spent! Will definitely come back again. Special shout to Melanie for her amazing customer service who managed our check-in and to the rest of Metropole Hotel staff. You guys have be very attentive!

I hate this big ugly building looming over the other gracious buildings of the city, but the views are fantastic, the location is perfect, and the staff were very nice and helpful. It was also comfortable.

Although it feels a little dated, it was very clean and well maintained. The location is excellent — almost right in the centre of Interlaken — with a bus stop nearby and two train stations, a supermarket, and even a casual burger restaurant all within walking distance. The highlight is the view: on clear days, you can see the Jungfrau, and the scenery from the room is truly beautiful (weather permitting). On the downside, there was no kettle in the room and, somewhat surprisingly, no coffee cups were provided.

Probably the best stay in this entire trip. The place is in a classic town with a mountain view and open space. 10 minute walk to a major train station, with bus stops few meters away.

Stayed in a renovated room which was great. Spacious room and great shower and water pressure in the shower. Fantastic views of Jungfrau from the balcony. Loved seeing all the paragliders landing in the park across from the hotel. Excellent location close to Interlaken West train station. If I came back to Interlaken I would stay here again.

Staff extremely helpful and friendly. Helped safely store bags while we waited for room to be ready. The rooftop hotel restaurant has the best view and great food.

Stayed in a renovated room which was great. Spacious room and great shower and water pressure in the shower. Fantastic views of Jungfrau from the balcony. Loved seeing all the paragliders landing in the park across from the hotel. Excellent location close to Interlaken West train station. If I came back to Interlaken I would stay here again.

Staff was okay, not too friendly not rude…. Rooms were good (No Ac so had to leave the door open lot of street noise)…. Lift system was weird…
