Centrally located near the train station, the lake and bridges. However, at night there are some night professionals in the area. It remains safe however. Rooms are clean and staff is friendly. They charge a fee to store luggage, which is inconvenient.

Typical Ibis experience; compact room was very clean and functional, as was every area of the hotel. Really enjoyed the self-service breakfast. Staff were all excellent and very helpful. Ideally located for the Lake, Buses and Trains, with only a short walk along the lake to the Old Town. Don't be put off by reviews saying the surrounding area is unsafe, it is a little grubby and noisy, but felt perfectly safe. Restaurants immediately outside are serving mainly Middle Eastern food, everything else you could want to eat is within 50-100m walk towards the City Centre.

This place was great highly recommended. Clean and cozy, front desk and all staff were very friendly,nice and helpful. Shout out to the front desk people and the gentleman who picks up after people's plates after breakfast he was very professional. Will definitely recommend and stay here again with out hesitation.

The room was clean but small. The location was actually in a red light district but interestingly we did not feel unsafe as long as we came back at a decent time. That being said, i would probably not choose this location next time although it was within walking distace to jet deau. There was an amazing tandori chicken place across the hotel.

We booked an upsize room here and it was worth the additional money. Overall we thought this place was welcoming, efficient, comfortable and reasonable value. I liked the fact we were sent our free city transport passes in advance Our return journey involved a far worse hotel- we’ll stick with IBIS in future!

Unfortunately, my experience at this hotel did not meet expectations. During my stay, I experienced multiple insect bites, which raised serious concerns about the overall cleanliness and hygiene of the accommodation. Additionally, after checking out, I urgently inquired about the availability of a restroom in the lobby area. I was initially told there wasn’t one available. However, when I returned to collect my luggage and presented my claim card, another staff member informed me that there was a restroom on the basement level accessible with a key card. This inconsistency in communication was frustrating and added to an already uncomfortable experience. Overall, the combination of hygiene concerns and unclear staff communication made my stay quite disappointing. I would not choose to stay here again.

Room was small but very clean, modern and adequate for a good stay. The bed was comfortable, and the bathroom appeared to have been recently refurbished - very clean and an excellent shower. No safe or kettle in the room, but complimentary hot drinks were available in the reception area (although there was no milk). Staff were friendly and helpful. Well located - a short walk from the main train station, and also the lake. I would have no hesitation in returning here.
