The hotel was superb with outstanding landscaped property offering top class facility in a restful and tranquil atmosphere. The staff were amazing, extremely keen to meet all our needs. The rooms are well appointed and very comfortable. Breakfast was excellent in terms of thr quality and variety. The hotel has fantastic range of facilities and activities for children. My only criticism is that given its remote location and the lack of ant local village or restaurants/ eateries, choices for dinner were limited to very expensive hotel restaurants ( costing above European prices) and a burger/ wings shack. The pizzeria closes at 4 pm. Due attention needs to be given to provide eating facilities for a range of budgets as not many can afford the highly expensive buffets. Even the a la carte beach restaurant was way too pricey.

A fantastic six night stay at Avani+ which was recommended by a colleague. Beautiful, elegantly designed resort with lush gardens and plenty to do (whatever the weather). Our room was very spacious and comfortable and the food was of a consistently high standard with lots of choice. What impressed us the most, however, was the staff’s courtesy, professionalism, and attention to detail. They are clearly very well trained and motivated to make their guests as comfortable as possible - an example was arranging tennis bookings for us at a neighbouring resort whilst their court was unexpectedly under maintenance. Highly recommend the cooking class, climbing wall, and spa. Particular thanks to Julie and Gift on front desk, Benz and Biw in F&B, the Farm Boy, Ranisa the Director of Rooms, and Nan in the spa!

Everything about the property was great, however the only issues we encountered was with guests inappropriately staring at my fiancee like they wanted to take her to another room and assault her, and guests not managing their children while they coughed and stuck their hands in all the food. If you see this, mention it immediately. We were offered room service for the night due to the gross children of parents who couldn't care less and treated the staff like they were meant to be parenting their kids. Cultural differences, maybe. But no one should feel unsafe because another guest cannot stop staring at them. We reported both incidents and it appears the other man and his family were either asked to leave, or were moved so we didn't encounter him again. If I was Avani, I would have charged the family with the gross kids the cost of replacing all of the food in the main dining room. All in all, they did what they could, but maybe advise guests in the future to keep their kids wrangled, and eyes to themselves if they're unable to control themselves.

Friendly staff and amazing resort. They made our holiday memorable. Every areas are exceptional clean, spacious rooms and the resort has many activities to take part on. Great fitness centre. Avani+ is run by very professional team with an impressive work ethic. We will definitely going back there.

Overall the property was beautiful and well kept. The amenities were great. Some things were closed due to a wedding so we left the property to eat more often. The staff was very kind and attentive. My only complaint was I was supposed to get 20% off of food and spa services. We remembered to ask during one our times eating but forgot during another time and during my spa service so unfortunately we did not receive the discount. I would like to see that being applied automatically since they always ask for our room number before starting service

Larger than expected with mostly families. Zillions of children and breakfast mayhem. This is a lovely hotel but maybe not ideal in high season unless you’ve got small children. Most of the guests were Russian. Breakfast is a bunfight although the fare is excellent and the staff are absolutely on point when it comes to turning round the tables. There is a lot of choice and the quality of food is very good. Coffee is from machines and OK. The staff is first class everywhere. The rooms are large and well appointed, cleaned and replenished perfectly daily. The gardens are lovely. As a couple it definitely makes sense to pay extra for the pool access rooms. These open directly on to a long swimming pool and overlook a lily pond. They give you a calm oasis to relax when the beach is rammed, with both outdoor sun loungers and a table and chairs. They have nespresso machines and kettles too. The main pool and beach area is very busy. The gym is excellent and quiet and lots of exercise classes on offer. Also a climbing wall and boxing

Sehr schöne Anlage mit vielen Pflanzen, sauber, toller Strand mit vielen Liegen! Mehrere Pools, der Hauptpool ist relativ klein, man hat aber immer freie Liegen gefunden Frühstücksbuffet war gut! Leider fand eine grosse Hochzeit statt, wodurch es am Pool/Strand Zeitweise sehr laut war bzw Unruhe durch Aufbaumaßnahmen etc.

Wir wurden sehr herzlich empfangen und das ganze Team besonders Masha waren immer sehr zuvorkommend und haben uns unseren Urlaub perfekt gemacht. Wir hatten ein großes Zimmer mit allen Annehmlichkeiten die man braucht. Das Wlan war sehr gut auch Streaming war problemlos möglich. Die Anlage hat einen wunderschönen und langen Strandabschnitt und es gibt genug Liegen und Handtücher. 2 Pools und einen Kinderpool mit Wasserpark. Das Hotel bietet viele Möglichkeiten sich zu erholen oder anderweitig zu betätigen. Ein Fitnesscenter, Kletterwand, Skater und Basketball Feld, Kanu und Surfbretter, Kindergarten, ein Spa Bereich und vieles mehr. Wir hatten mit Frühstück gebucht und auch nur das Frühstück genutzt. Der Service ist auch hier einmalig und Filmmy hat uns immer mit einem Lächeln bedient und uns einen schönen Start in den Tag bereitet. Wir hatten ein richtig schönen Urlaub.

Beach is beautiful. Staff is very nice, service is outstanding. Good hotel facilities. It is in a quieter area. One of the best we have seen in Thailand.

The hotel was superb with outstanding landscaped property offering top class facility in a restful and tranquil atmosphere. The staff were amazing, extremely keen to meet all our needs. The rooms are well appointed and very comfortable. Breakfast was excellent in terms of thr quality and variety. The hotel has fantastic range of facilities and activities for children. My only criticism is that given its remote location and the lack of ant local village or restaurants/ eateries, choices for dinner were limited to very expensive hotel restaurants ( costing above European prices) and a burger/ wings shack. The pizzeria closes at 4 pm. Due attention needs to be given to provide eating facilities for a range of budgets as not many can afford the highly expensive buffets. Even the a la carte beach restaurant was way too pricey.

A fantastic six night stay at Avani+ which was recommended by a colleague. Beautiful, elegantly designed resort with lush gardens and plenty to do (whatever the weather). Our room was very spacious and comfortable and the food was of a consistently high standard with lots of choice. What impressed us the most, however, was the staff’s courtesy, professionalism, and attention to detail. They are clearly very well trained and motivated to make their guests as comfortable as possible - an example was arranging tennis bookings for us at a neighbouring resort whilst their court was unexpectedly under maintenance. Highly recommend the cooking class, climbing wall, and spa. Particular thanks to Julie and Gift on front desk, Benz and Biw in F&B, the Farm Boy, Ranisa the Director of Rooms, and Nan in the spa!

Everything about the property was great, however the only issues we encountered was with guests inappropriately staring at my fiancee like they wanted to take her to another room and assault her, and guests not managing their children while they coughed and stuck their hands in all the food. If you see this, mention it immediately. We were offered room service for the night due to the gross children of parents who couldn't care less and treated the staff like they were meant to be parenting their kids. Cultural differences, maybe. But no one should feel unsafe because another guest cannot stop staring at them. We reported both incidents and it appears the other man and his family were either asked to leave, or were moved so we didn't encounter him again. If I was Avani, I would have charged the family with the gross kids the cost of replacing all of the food in the main dining room. All in all, they did what they could, but maybe advise guests in the future to keep their kids wrangled, and eyes to themselves if they're unable to control themselves.

Overall it is pretty good! I travelled with my elderly mom and the staff is really helpful. The only suggestion is the repellent. I have got so many mosquitoes bite!

Friendly staff and amazing resort. They made our holiday memorable. Every areas are exceptional clean, spacious rooms and the resort has many activities to take part on. Great fitness centre. Avani+ is run by very professional team with an impressive work ethic. We will definitely going back there.

Overall the property was beautiful and well kept. The amenities were great. Some things were closed due to a wedding so we left the property to eat more often. The staff was very kind and attentive. My only complaint was I was supposed to get 20% off of food and spa services. We remembered to ask during one our times eating but forgot during another time and during my spa service so unfortunately we did not receive the discount. I would like to see that being applied automatically since they always ask for our room number before starting service

Larger than expected with mostly families. Zillions of children and breakfast mayhem. This is a lovely hotel but maybe not ideal in high season unless you’ve got small children. Most of the guests were Russian. Breakfast is a bunfight although the fare is excellent and the staff are absolutely on point when it comes to turning round the tables. There is a lot of choice and the quality of food is very good. Coffee is from machines and OK. The staff is first class everywhere. The rooms are large and well appointed, cleaned and replenished perfectly daily. The gardens are lovely. As a couple it definitely makes sense to pay extra for the pool access rooms. These open directly on to a long swimming pool and overlook a lily pond. They give you a calm oasis to relax when the beach is rammed, with both outdoor sun loungers and a table and chairs. They have nespresso machines and kettles too. The main pool and beach area is very busy. The gym is excellent and quiet and lots of exercise classes on offer. Also a climbing wall and boxing

Sehr schöne Anlage mit vielen Pflanzen, sauber, toller Strand mit vielen Liegen! Mehrere Pools, der Hauptpool ist relativ klein, man hat aber immer freie Liegen gefunden Frühstücksbuffet war gut! Leider fand eine grosse Hochzeit statt, wodurch es am Pool/Strand Zeitweise sehr laut war bzw Unruhe durch Aufbaumaßnahmen etc.

Wir sind das 3. mal im Avani Khao Lak und waren sehr zufrieden. Wir wurden sehr herzlich empfangen und das ganze Team besonders Masha waren immer sehr zuvorkommend und haben uns unseren Urlaub perfekt gemacht. Wir hatten ein großes Zimmer mit allen Annehmlichkeiten die man braucht. Das Wlan war sehr gut auch Streaming war problemlos möglich. Die Anlage hat einen wunderschönen und langen Strandabschnitt und es gibt genug Liegen und Handtücher. 2 Pools und einen Kinderpool mit Wasserpark. Das Hotel bietet viele Möglichkeiten sich zu erholen oder anderweitig zu betätigen. Ein Fitnesscenter, Kletterwand, Skater und Basketball Feld, Kanu und Surfbretter, Kindergarten, ein Spa Bereich und vieles mehr. Wir hatten mit Frühstück gebucht und auch nur das Frühstück genutzt. Der Service ist auch hier einmalig und Filmmy hat uns immer mit einem Lächeln bedient und uns einen schönen Start in den Tag bereitet. Wir hatten ein richtig schönen Urlaub.

A Lovely get away location. Fun beach bar wonderful staff. Very good breakfast choices. Just a 10 mins walk along to beach to a couple of local restaurants and outdoor Massage therapists with great pricing!
