This was our 10th Visit to the Milky Bay Hotel, and to our total surprise, the resort underwent a major renovation since we last stayed there, and it is absolutely beautiful!! We had a stunning room, and the staff that's become like family treated us like royalty. Well done on the superb renovation, and the Resort will remain one of our favourite places to go to!! We can't wait to go back.

Ich war nun zum 3. Mal dort. Ich mag das Resort. Die Zimmer sind hübsch eingerichtet und haben einen gut gefüllten Kühlschrank. Man hat aber auch Chips, Nüsse usw. im Zimmer was man kaufen kann. Es gibt einen tollen Pool und Sonnenliegen. Denn hier ist der Strandabschnitt nicht schön. Man muss am Pool liegen zum sonnen. Das Restaurant ist direkt am Meer und es schmeckt sehr gut. Es gibt auch eine nette Bar am Meer. Das ganze Personal ist sehr nett. Ich komme bestimmt noch mal wieder.

This review is mixed as the property was great! but the 'bait and switch' on the rooms we booked was TERRIBLE. Front desk when we arrived was frustrating and unfriendly. Did not want to help us and did the bait n switch on our rooms. then after us upgrading our rooms from the bait n switch of a room lower than a back packer room, to a room that we could comfortably survive in, things were OK. Except the upgraded room that we had, had a misfunctioning air con for the full 4 days we stayed here. The front desk was good at the end of our stay and did not make us pay for the room as we had zero sleep for 4 days with no aircon and then zero water for 1 day. But the resort was nice and the pizza was good. WARNING is the rooms that we booked does not exist on Milky Bay's or Expedia's website anymore. And we saw another group got put in those 'bait n switch' rooms and we asked them if that's what they booked and they also said that was not what they booked and the resort would move them to an upgraded room (which we and they had to pay for) when there was room available. We were a party of 12 people in 6 rooms. Again, the resort is pleasant and nice, but make sure the rooms you book EXIST on the website before you book. Expedia support team was great and consistently talked with me over the problem we had, but in the end Expedia made the best offer they could to us for the inconvenience and it was accepted on our part.

Das Resort liegt an einem guten Standort ,man kann mit dem Roller alle Richtungen in einer halben Stunde erreichen. Der Strand ist leider nicht zum Baden geeignet weil das Wasser nur Knie tief ist. Ansonsten ist es Empfehlungs wert.

Lovely place to relax at, accommodation in the bungalows was lovely and the pool was nice. The staff though very attentive seemed to be doing this as their 1st season and kept getting things wrong with drinks and food orders. Quiet of a night time which if you just wanted to relax and have a drink and play pool is ideal or you have to go into town for 300baht (approx £7.50) for a lively night.

Dinner is good priced well , breakfast needs to be elevated to sourdough toast, mushrooms must be fresh. Water pressure in the one bungalow was very low. But other than that a good stay.

No TV or netflix as promised..Wi Fi was buffering all the time, just like the only source of any TV, You Tube...Had to go elsewhere to do any business on my phone, Facebook and messenger...They also extorted 1500 baht from me, for the scooter I had hired from them, being hit and dragged along ground in their carpark...Not by me....

My wife and me liked the restaurant, the staff there is very nice and the food is good. The hotel room itself was clean but it badly needs renovation. The holder for the shower head was loose and you had to hold the head in your hand while showering. There was no soap to wash your hands and the air conditioning hadn't been serviced in a long time. It cooled but not really much. There was a white powder applied to one spot on the bed sheet, which I had to brush off before going to sleep. Given the price and the number of stars, I expect something better.

The bathroom facilities are terrible. Showering would trip the electricity and I’d be in the dark until maintenance could get it back on. A part of the resort near where I was situated was under construction so hearing grinding and people walking around the room all morning isn’t my idea of leisure. The pizza from the restaurant was 5 star pizza which was a real positive about the place.

We came hoping for a quiet getaway and we couldn't have asked for a better place to do this than Milky Bay Resort on Koh Phangan. Even though this property is set back not far from the main road, it is so quiet and right on the beach. We could see the beautiful calm beachview from our room. The staff were so friendly and helpful. The free breakfast choices were wonderful as well as the menu for lunch and dinner right there at the resort. The pool was so clean and the water a perfect temperature for cooling down. A few feet from the registration is a place you can rent scooters to easily take yourself around to see the rest of the island. Peaceful! Wonderful! We hope to return.

Nice peaceful stay at Milky Bay. The bed was super comfortable and it was a nice touch to have glass water bottles in the room as well as a refillable water station. The staff were very attentive. The views out to sea on a sunny day are beautiful. The bungalows need a small lick of paint and the window latches readjusting then I would say it’s pretty much 10/10. Breakfast was ok - would’ve liked a better selection of fruit or the opportunity to help yourself to more butter/jam.

The bathroom facilities are terrible. Showering would trip the electricity and I’d be in the dark until maintenance could get it back on. A part of the resort near where I was situated was under construction so hearing grinding and people walking around the room all morning isn’t my idea of leisure. The pizza from the restaurant was 5 star pizza which was a real positive about the place.

We came hoping for a quiet getaway and we couldn't have asked for a better place to do this than Milky Bay Resort on Koh Phangan. Even though this property is set back not far from the main road, it is so quiet and right on the beach. We could see the beautiful calm beachview from our room. The staff were so friendly and helpful. The free breakfast choices were wonderful as well as the menu for lunch and dinner right there at the resort. The pool was so clean and the water a perfect temperature for cooling down. A few feet from the registration is a place you can rent scooters to easily take yourself around to see the rest of the island. Peaceful! Wonderful! We hope to return.

Nice peaceful stay at Milky Bay. The bed was super comfortable and it was a nice touch to have glass water bottles in the room as well as a refillable water station. The staff were very attentive. The views out to sea on a sunny day are beautiful. The bungalows need a small lick of paint and the window latches readjusting then I would say it’s pretty much 10/10. Breakfast was ok - would’ve liked a better selection of fruit or the opportunity to help yourself to more butter/jam.
