The other is beautiful and very conveniently located in the very heart of Chinatown. We were first offered a beautiful room at the front of the hotel but the noise of the street as well as the music from the bar bellow made it incredibly and unbearably noisy. The next day we were relocated to a beautiful and quiet room towards rhe back of the hotel. The service in this hotel is in par with the most luxurious 5 stars! All the staff was absolutely amazing. There are free snacks for guests on each floor also. I cannot recommend this hotel enough but, if you really need to pick a room not at the front of the hotel or you will not sleep.

The Shanghai Mansion Hotel in Bangkok was excellent! The hotel was really nicely decorated and clean. Breakfast had a nice array of Thai, Chinese, and Western foods. The hotel bar had live music which was really fun! The room was very quiet despite music playing below. The location was great!

Beautiful hotel, friendly staff, amazing location. Bar prices are expensive but we have a choice not to eat or drink there. We were told that we cannot sit there if we don’t order anything which was fine.

Really nice stay, the bed and towels were massive, the room very clean and the staff lovely. Being right amongst the chaos of china town was an experience to say the least. Would have enjoyed the spa and restaurant more if they were more price accessible for guests but that is my only complaint. Would definitely stay again!

If you are going to stay in Chinatown, this is the place. Very unique decor and atmosphere. I thought thr breakfast buffet was excellent. The staff are friendly and accommodating. My room was very quiet. I spent hours examining all the amazing artifacts on display throughout the hotel. I love the inner courtyard design.

Beautiful place in the heart of Chinatown, Bangkok. The house is an amazing Chinese decorated building you cannot guess from the front door. Each floor has its own architecture. The Family room was really big with an even bigger bathroom. Nice breakfast and very relaxing massage (more expensive than outside but the therapist Preaw was very talented) The district around is full of delicious street food where you can eat for 200 bath per person. Boat pier is 15’ walking distance.

Shanghai Mansion is located right in Bangkok's Chinatown. A short walk from the subway line (20 minutes) accessible from BKK airport. Most every night the street market is open for shopping and delicious food. All exotic and fresh. Restaurants are open, too, and tend to spill out onto the sidewalks when busy. Mansion staff can help with scheduling activities and taxi rides to nearby malls. Not to be missed.

The hotel is beautiful with it's art deco feel. I would a void breakfast as I expected better for a 4 star, you are better off going outside for breakfast. I don't like that the sink is not part of the bath room in regards to hygiene. The toilet is too low.

Waren vom 17-6-2025 bis 23-6-2025 im Hotel Shanghai Mansion Bangkok: und hatten eine Suite. Die Suite ist geschmackvoll eingerichtet, sehr angenehm, das Bad war mit einer extra Badewann ausgestattet. Zum Frühstück muss ich sagen es sehr reichhaltig für jeden was dabei. Ich kann dieses Hotel bedenkenlos empfehlen. Hotel ist sehr sauber und frei von Ungeziefer. Diese Empfehlung ist von mir persönlich ohne Einfluss von diesem Hotel.

The design is uniquely stunning, with vibrant, intricate decor that reflects the rich cultural heritage of the area. The rooms are spacious and beautifully appointed, providing a serene escape from the bustling streets outside. Stay in the King Suite if you can. The staff are incredibly warm and knowledgeable, with the manager personally coming to thank us for our stay. Shanghai Mansion is located right in Bangkok's Chinatown. A short walk from the subway line (20 minutes) accessible from BKK airport. Most every night the street market is open for shopping and delicious food. All exotic and fresh. Restaurants are open, too, and tend to spill out onto the sidewalks when busy. Mansion staff can help with scheduling activities and taxi rides to nearby malls. Not to be missed.

The hotel is beautiful with it's art deco feel. I would a void breakfast as I expected better for a 4 star, you are better off going outside for breakfast. I don't like that the sink is not part of the bath room in regards to hygiene. The toilet is too low.

Beautiful hotel, wonderful staff, breakfast is amazing. Bar at night is lively and a great place to end the day. Streets come alive at night with food and vendors a block from the hotel on weekends. Highly recommend!

Waren vom 17-6-2025 bis 23-6-2025 im Hotel Shanghai Mansion Bangkok: und hatten eine Suite. Die Suite ist geschmackvoll eingerichtet, sehr angenehm, das Bad war mit einer extra Badewann ausgestattet. Zum Frühstück muss ich sagen es sehr reichhaltig für jeden was dabei. Ich kann dieses Hotel bedenkenlos empfehlen. Hotel ist sehr sauber und frei von Ungeziefer. Diese Empfehlung ist von mir persönlich ohne Einfluss von diesem Hotel.

This hotel must be the best in Chinatown, offering a perfect blend of traditional charm and modern luxury. The design is uniquely stunning, with vibrant, intricate decor that reflects the rich cultural heritage of the area. The rooms are spacious and beautifully appointed, providing a serene escape from the bustling streets outside. Stay in the King Suite if you can. The staff are incredibly warm and knowledgeable, with the manager personally coming to thank us for our stay. Don’t miss afternoon tea on the weekends, where there is a beautiful woman in traditional dress playing a guzheng. The experience was unforgettable!
