Thank you to Silavadee for making our honeymoon special. We fell in love with resort and it was absolutely perfect. The room was incredibly spacious, and the pool as part of the villa was perfect for a dip at any time of day. We appreciated the complimentary happy hour every day at the resort. The highlight of the our stay was definitely the food, probably the best breakfast menu and buffet we’ve ever had. We also at at the Star restaurant and the food options were plenty and very tasty. Resort is also pretty spread out but you can always call the front desk to send a golf cart if you’re tired or don’t want to walk the hills. In terms of location, very conveniently located about 25 mins south of Chaweng. And just a short 10 minute ride down to Lamai. Lamai had plenty of options for food and bars, and a very pleasant beach as well. Overall we wish we could have extended our stay another day or two as Koh Samui was a beautiful island with so much to do. We can’t wait to visit again and stay at Silavadee.

The staff at Silavadee was top notch! They took genuine care in our room, transportation to other areas of the hotel and making sure we had everything we needed constantly. They remembered who we were while we were there and cared about our experience. As an LGBTQ+ couple, we felt safe and welcomed. We felt so relaxed! This was the best place we have ever stayed and we’re going to think about this place for a long time. Highly recommend staying here as a couple, solo traveler or with friends: they have so much to offer for any type of traveler

Government-issued photo identification and a credit card or cash deposit are required at check-in for incidental charges. Special requests are subject to availability upon check-in and may incur additional charges. Special requests cannot be guaranteed. A child between 04 – 12 years, sharing existing bed with parents is free of charge, with 50% Discount in ABF. However, if required additional extra bed, rate at THB 1,000 per night net incl. daily ABF. For safety reasons reservations are not accepted for children under 12 years in a pool Villa unless a waiver is signed by parents upon check – in.
Breakfast Operation Time will be changed to 06:30 am - 10:30 am at MOON Restaurant, effective from April 15, 2024
As part of our continued commitment to enhance our property and service, beginning on April 20, 2025, and is expected to be completed by December 19,2025. Our resort will be in the process of upgrading our facilities. The Following areas are affected; The Fitness will be temporarily relocated, situated next to the new Muay Thai Boxing Ring. Yoga and other personal training sessions will also be available and can be arranged with the assistance of our team, The HEIGHT Restaurant (Authentic Thai Cuisine), service will be relocated to the Moon, Sun, and Star Restaurant, Silavadee Spa, service operates as normal in the designated area. We are excited about the enhancements and look forward to welcoming you to the newly updated Silavadee Pool Spa Resort Koh Samui in the near future.

Lo mejor, la comida y el servicio del personal. Lo peor, sensación de hotel desgastado, áreas sucias, exteriores descuidados en zonas, aparcamiento lleno de material de reforma, no hay ascensor (está en construcción) . Todas las habitaciones cerca de la instalación del ascensor tienen ruidos permanentes, además ese edificio está muy descuidado. Deberían acotar la estancia solo a las zonas donde no se vea afectado el descanso por estas reformas. Una de las piscinas tiene una zona muy descuidada y sucia. Las toallas de piscina tienen manchas de desgaste y lejía, son detalles a cuidar en un hotel 5 estrellas. El personal es amable, eso suma.

Comfortable room but layout was not efficient. Activities and hotel amenities i.e. gym was poor. Equipment was faulty, spoilt or rusty. Breakfast was decent though repetitive. Underwhelming and overpriced stay for a ‘5 star’ resort.

If you are looking for a private and quiet stay away, this is definitely a great choice. As the main restaurant was closed for renovations, we were limited to the two restaurants. The menu catered to both western and thai offerings, but one may feel that there was not much variety if one was planning to have all meals within the resort (eg. breakfast menu was exactly the same for all days we were there). Room was very comfortable and clean. The tub in the room offered some alternative activity on a slightly rainy day when the pool is not available. Small touches were appreciated - turn down services included local snacks which we got to try, celebratory gestures to celebrate anniversary and a birthday (eg. cake & sparkling wine) were made available complimentary. As the area is a little remote, I'm glad that the resort provided complimentary shuttle services to both Chaweng and Lamai. Also appreciated the hotel app which made communication with various concierge and hotel services very easy. Responses were super prompt. I recommend the massages at the spa - suggest to book in advance to secure a slot.

Sehr schöne Anlage, wenn auch etwas in die Jahre gekommen (wird aber gerade teilweise renoviert). Wir hatten eine Duplex Villa mit Pool und tollem Ausblick auf‘s Meer. Das Essen war sehr lecker. Das Personal im gesamten Ressort ist extrem freundlich. Die Anlage wird gerade in einigen Teilen erneuert (ein Restaurant, das Spa und das Fitness-Center). Uns hat es nicht gestört, wobei ich erwartet hätte, dass dies auf Expedia deutlicher steht, v.a. auf der Reservierungsbestätigung. Das Hotel hat uns gleich zu Beginn informiert. Es wurde mit 3000 Baht Guthaben und einer Happy Hour mit kostenlosen Getränken und Snacks entgegen gekommen. Lärmbelästigung gab es bei unserer Villa keine. Uns hat es sehr gut gefallen. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

The highlight of the our stay was definitely the food, probably the best breakfast menu and buffet we’ve ever had. We also at at the Star restaurant and the food options were plenty and very tasty. Resort is also pretty spread out but you can always call the front desk to send a golf cart if you’re tired or don’t want to walk the hills. In terms of location, very conveniently located about 25 mins south of Chaweng. And just a short 10 minute ride down to Lamai. Lamai had plenty of options for food and bars, and a very pleasant beach as well. Overall we wish we could have extended our stay another day or two as Koh Samui was a beautiful island with so much to do. We can’t wait to visit again and stay at Silavadee.

Lo mejor, la comida y el servicio del personal. Lo peor, sensación de hotel desgastado, áreas sucias, exteriores descuidados en zonas, aparcamiento lleno de material de reforma, no hay ascensor (está en construcción) . Todas las habitaciones cerca de la instalación del ascensor tienen ruidos permanentes, además ese edificio está muy descuidado. Deberían acotar la estancia solo a las zonas donde no se vea afectado el descanso por estas reformas. Una de las piscinas tiene una zona muy descuidada y sucia. Las toallas de piscina tienen manchas de desgaste y lejía, son detalles a cuidar en un hotel 5 estrellas. El personal es amable, eso suma.

The staff at Silavadee was top notch! They took genuine care in our room, transportation to other areas of the hotel and making sure we had everything we needed constantly. They remembered who we were while we were there and cared about our experience. As an LGBTQ+ couple, we felt safe and welcomed. We felt so relaxed! This was the best place we have ever stayed and we’re going to think about this place for a long time. Comfortable room but layout was not efficient. Activities and hotel amenities i.e. gym was poor. Equipment was faulty, spoilt or rusty. Breakfast was decent though repetitive. Underwhelming and overpriced stay for a ‘5 star’ resort.

If you are looking for a private and quiet stay away, this is definitely a great choice. As the main restaurant was closed for renovations, we were limited to the two restaurants. The menu catered to both western and thai offerings, but one may feel that there was not much variety if one was planning to have all meals within the resort (eg. breakfast menu was exactly the same for all days we were there). Room was very comfortable and clean. The tub in the room offered some alternative activity on a slightly rainy day when the pool is not available. Small touches were appreciated - turn down services included local snacks which we got to try, celebratory gestures to celebrate anniversary and a birthday (eg. cake & sparkling wine) were made available complimentary. As the area is a little remote, I'm glad that the resort provided complimentary shuttle services to both Chaweng and Lamai. Also appreciated the hotel app which made communication with various concierge and hotel services very easy. Responses were super prompt. I recommend the massages at the spa - suggest to book in advance to secure a slot.

Sehr schöne Anlage, wenn auch etwas in die Jahre gekommen (wird aber gerade teilweise renoviert). Wir hatten eine Duplex Villa mit Pool und tollem Ausblick auf‘s Meer. Das Essen war sehr lecker. Das Personal im gesamten Ressort ist extrem freundlich. Die Anlage wird gerade in einigen Teilen erneuert (ein Restaurant, das Spa und das Fitness-Center). Uns hat es nicht gestört, wobei ich erwartet hätte, dass dies auf Expedia deutlicher steht, v.a. auf der Reservierungsbestätigung. Das Hotel hat uns gleich zu Beginn informiert. Es wurde mit 3000 Baht Guthaben und einer Happy Hour mit kostenlosen Getränken und Snacks entgegen gekommen. Lärmbelästigung gab es bei unserer Villa keine. Uns hat es sehr gut gefallen. Wir kommen gerne wieder.
