Sugar Palm Grand Hillside

Really good rooms, good size, very clean and well maintained. Feels a bit weird when you first get in due to the shape of the building, but soon got used to it. Common areas and pool very quiet and nicely kept. The plunge pool and hot bath was a bonus, shame the sauna and steam room weren't quite ready for use as currently being refurbes, but looked great. The bar on the top deck is worth a visit for the view. Good location, easy to walk to Kata and Kata Noi beach.

Es war sehr sauber, das Frühstücksbuffet sehr vielfaltig und lecker, das Personal war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit.

Eneste minus ved dette fremragende hotel er der kan være lang vej op til værelset. Der er dog elevatorerne men der skal stadig gås en del.... Men generelt fedt hotel med god og rolig beliggenhed

Great hotel and we loved spending time in our pool, breakfast was great, proximity to the beach and shops was a 3 minute walk, workout room was tiny however, climbing the hill to and from the hotel was enough of a workout that we needed.

Le personnel très bien, mais il manque un peu plus de confort, et pas de poubelles autour de la piscine, pas de restauration ou endroit pour boire un verre le soir! Le nettoyage laisse, des jours, à désirer! Mais hôtel très bien situé! Il ne correspond ni à un 4 ou 5*. Il mérite un petit rafraîchissement!

Staff really friendly and helpful .situated only short walk from kata beach and two great bars and restaurants nearby.

We spent 4 nights here while staying in Kata and had a pretty good time. My main criticisms are that the hotel is a little dated and needs some restoration. We also had issues with the wifi, which was out for an entire day. The rooms are super comfy and the bathroom is great, but we feel the hotel may have been a casualty of Covid. Cleanliness was generally great, but we did discover two dead roaches in the room after returning from outside. Note as well that the hotel is up on a hillside, so be prepared to walk up a bit when returning.

I love this place, I stayed here 9 years ago and it's still just as good. Lovely room, pool and gardens, good breakfast and friendly staff.

Overall a great property. The rooms are large, the views are beautiful, the location great, the staff friendly and accommodating. The only issue was the WiFi is very slow; however, we purchased a 4G unlimited mobile package which solved that problem.

I'm pleased with the quality for the price. This hotel was a quick walk to the beach and convenient for our purposes. Wifi did not work in the room though. I had to sit on the balcony to have access to wifi. That was the only con.

Séjour d'une semaine sur place. Je ne suis pas du genre à mettre des notes passables,mais dans ce cas là,je me dois de le faire pour avertir les personnes exigeantes. Hôtel certainement très bien il y a 20 ans,mais pas du tout de nos jours.(standards dépassés) Hôtel surnoté par d autres clients,à croire qu'ils n ont jamais connu mieux... Côtés positifs:hôtel proche de tout à pied:plage de Kata,magasins,restaurants,animation locale. Côtés négatifs :hôtel très difficile d'accès pour personnes à mobilité réduite,chambre et mobilier usagés/viellots. En pleine journée,campagne d'éradication de moustiques(gaz nocif) sans avoir averti la clientèle :c est honteux.(intoxication) Au petit matin(09h30),à deux reprises : rotofil à moteur thermique qui reveillent les clients (d habitude,cela se fait avec un rotofil électrique,bien davantage silencieux; ou à la main....) Management averti mais se moque du bien-être de la clientèle.S excuse constamment mais ne fait rien concrètement. Pas assez de transats au bord de la piscine. Sur place,service de location de scooters proposant des scooteurs très vieux et en mauvais état. Je passe d autres faits négatifs. 60€/jours sans petit dej: trop cher pour le peu de prestations. Clientèle chinoise et russe trop bruyante. Bref,je n y retournerai pas.Y'a mieux sur Kata et à des tarifs inférieurs. Très déçu d'avoir choisi cet hôtel en ayant suivi les avis de certains clients "hotels.com"
