Hotel was very clean and the staff was friendly. It was not over crowded and didn't have any issues with securing beach chairs and umbrellas or a spot at the pool. The grounds were well manicured and once you walked into the resort it was very peaceful and quiet. Beach is gorgeous!

You never have to leave property

This should not be considered a 5 star hotel. Our experience here was absolutely not worth the money we spent. The service was not 5 star service! I've received better service from a holiday inn. Our room was very nice and clean. The beach access was great. The pool is okay. There was pee all over the pool bathroom floor, which unfortunately ended up on my clothes so I was soiled in someone else's urine. They did not comp my dry cleaning. The fire alarm went off and I had to evacuate my room. No one was in a rush to fix it or apologize for the inconvenience. I stood outside for over 20 minutes with other guests, while I needed to be inside getting ready for a wedding. I asked for an early check in, they wouldn't accommodate. Even after I had someone else's pee on my clothes. They sent up a fruit plate but it wasn't enough. No one was happy to greet or take care of us. I ordered a frozen drink by the pool and they just let it sit there and handed it to me melted... I tried to order room service at 10:30, they closed at 11pm and told me the Chef had already left. There are no other food options near by. Nothing is walkable. We will not be going back. We had some bad luck, I'm sure it wasn't terrible for everyone but overall it was a bad experience. They had plenty of opportunity to make it better but fell short each time.

Beautiful beach

This is a magnificent property. It's absolutely beautiful. The staff was amazing and the food was excellent at the resort. There's not really much besides a little downtown area in Grace Bay (that you can walk to) for entertainment but we were happy with just hanging out at the resort and enjoying the pool, beach, food and drinks. The room was nicer than we expected too. All in all, a five star experience!

Best vacation ever!

The staff were phenomenal, the resort was immaculate, the pool and beach are A1! I loved my stay here! Would definitely return. Great for families couples, or solo

We arranged a three generation stay at the Palms, and it exceeded our expectations. There was a great many things that we liked about The Palms-the quality of the villas, the swimming pool and beach (both perfect for little children), the complimentary breakfasts, and the location. However, what was most striking was the quality of the staff. Everybody we interacted with was consistently pleasant and helpful, and patient with children. This included the people who helped set up at the beach and the pool, the guys who distributed towels, the woman who cleaned our rooms, the people at the front desk/concierge, and the restaurant staff. While everybody was lovely I want to single out Jane, who was a hostess, seated us for breakfast each morning, and made sure the smallest child was well taken care of. But that level of service was shown by everybody we interacted with, throughout our stay. There are a couple of things to consider to make the property even more perfect. There are a lot of choices at breakfast, and it would be good if they offered plain or greek yogurt along with flavored sweetened yogurts-they had plain yogurt but we had to ask for it. Second, The Palms has a surprisingly well equipped fitness center/gym, which is well used. As a result, it's actually too small for the number of people who want to use it in the morning. Add more floor space for stretching or other workout routines. All told, a great vacation

Lovely stay on a lovely property. They were accommodating when I had to make adjustments to my travel plans when an issue came up causing me to miss my flight and I had to arrive the next day.

Gorgeous hotel and gorgeous beach!

The Palms in an exceptional experience. The staff is friendly and accommodating. Restaurants are very good. The location is probably the best sight on the Grace Bay beach. The grounds are very well maintained. The only possible way to improve this place would be a larger gym. However, it has everything you need, it’s just a bit small when several people are working out.

Grounds and property were stunning! Service upon arrival was five stars! Adrienne at breakfast was a gem! Service by pool bar was the only downer. Complete disconnect from the rest of the property. You almost felt like you were causing them an inconvenience to get a drink. Extremely slow and almost bothered to serve a drink.

Very good place

Excellent service. Front desk was especially helpful. The room was clean large and had a great view of the beach. Small resort but not lacking in amenities.

The pro is that the room is very nice and so spacious and clean; there’s great attention to detail too. The grounds are very pretty, but the property is just so blasé. The pool is clean but boring, the hot tub is like warm, and the ocean view room is a joke. You can barely see tiny glimpses of the ocean through palm branches. The worst though is the attitude of the check in staff. We were at the Ritz Carlton for 5 night and chose to move hotel for our last night. Maybe it’s unfair to compare the Palms to the Ritz, but truly, they’d benefit from training in treating guests better. Honestly, for the price that the Palms is, I would chose the Ritz without question over the palms. We checked in at 9;30 AM. We were told that the room was not occupied and just needed to be cleaned. We kept checking back, and we were told it would be ready no later than 1 and hopefully before. At 12:45, when I checked at the front to see if after nearly 4 hours they had cleaned the room, I was told that they were in the process and was told in a sassy way that checkin is at 3. I responded calmly by saying, “ yes I understand that, but when you tell me that our room will be ready no later than 1, it reset our expectations. She seemed annoyed. We didn’t get into our room until after 2. Again, perhaps it’s not fair to compare the palms to the ritz, but for essentially the same price, the staff is so far superior and the quad experience is too!

Great rooms excellent food

The food was surprisingly delicious for resort food. Ordered room service every day. Particularly the chicken soup! Complimentary breakfast was above the standard free breakfast that’s normally offered at resorts like this.Staff was friendly and the beach is better than the photos!

Wish I could give 5/5 stars but I can due to some customer service issues. Sabine was terribly rude and should not be in customer service. Literally rolled her eyes in my face, I will be emailing the property separately. Whitney wasn’t as bad but she also really needs some customer service training. Besides that and the room issue with a broken fridge, non working lamps, and non working lock everything was great. The manager Arianna was great and upgraded us rooms after the room dilemma. EVERYONE besides the two mentioned were fantastic. So kind, upbeat, always smiling, and sooo good with my baby. Shout out to Roxy (Roxanne), Jane (red hair), Tyrese (beach attendant) and everyone else was fantastic.

Every single employee was friendly. I’ve never been to a place where the entire staff smiled throughout our stay. It is an incredibly well managed property. Everything is always in its place and all day-to-day activities are well coordinated. The resort restaurants were outstanding. The daily breakfast was outstanding (e.g., fresh squeezed OJ, omelette station). The beach is everything you dream about in the Caribbean. The pool area was inviting and calm. Off-site activities were well managed. Very upscale experience delivered in a low-key and friendly style.
