Das Hotel ist sehr groß und weitläufig. Je nach Zimmerlage kann man mit einem Wagen gefahren werden. Positiv: Ein sehr gut durchdachtes Hotel, viel Personal, alle sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Alles sehr sauber und aufgeräumt. Beim Essen wird auf Sauberkeit geachtet, es gibt einen ruhigeren Bereich für Erwachsene (16 ), sehr angenehm wenn man keine oder nur größere Kinder hat. Sowohl Strand wie auch am Pool viele verschiedene Möglichkeiten zum liegen. Wunderschön gestaltet. Negativ: Der Strand an sich gefällt mir persönlich nicht, die Pools werden extra runtergekühlt was mir persönlich zu kalt war. Wir hatten ein großes Zimmer mit zwei Queenbetten gebucht und bekamen ein Zimmer mit Kingbett was für drei (2 Erw und eine 16jährige) zu wenig ist. So musste einer auf dem sehr unbequemen Sofabwtt schlafen, mit Eisenstangen unter der dünnen Matratze , furchtbar. Erst nach 3 Nächten bekamen wir das gebuchte Zimmer und konnten umziehen. Sehr ärgerlich bei dem hohen Preis den wir extra zahlten. An zwei Tagen wollte ich meiner Tochter Essen ins Zimmer bringen da sie erkrankt war. Das wurde strikt verboten und nur der Zimmerservice durfte das Essen ins Zimmer bringen. Dies dauerte knapp 20 Minuten und so war das Essen dann kalt. Auch ärgerlich. Wasser aufs Zimmer ist kostenfrei, 3 Tage habe ich an der Rezeption um Wasser gebeten und es nie bekommen. Also das funktionierte leider auch nicht. Klimaanlage und Fön funktionierten auch nicht.

The resort is nice for relaxation. The hotel is clean and all-inclusive food is good. Its location is somewhat off-centre and there’s a lot of construction going on in the area.

The hotel makes a good impression from the lobby, but the standard room has quite small beds for a family if four (two adults and two small kids). At the reception they allowed us to do an early check in, which was amazing because we were extremely tired from the flight. The hotel has a construction work on its side, which makes it quite noise at the beach. The restaurant is very crowded and the food of the buffet is by far not at the level you would expect from a 5-star hotel. It’s not bad though… just not 5-star. The all inclusive package, although convenient, is not impressive either. Some staff tried to help and facilitate everything for us, but some people were simply lost and not helpful. Overall it was a good experience for our family. The beach is nice and calm (not sandy, but full of broken shells as it’s not a natural beach), kids pool is warm (even though it’s an external pool) and they have the water playground and the regular playground. The tourist agency (Cleopatra Tours) has good options, but you may need to negotiate the prices. They will give you some very overpriced options.

Love the staff, food, amenities and size of room!! Tharanga was extremely nice on a day when I was sick. We will return.

Bra hotell som hade det mesta. Dock olika typer av all inklusive vilket gjorde att man kunde bli lite förvirrad. Vi hade dock otur med vår rumskategori och fick inte exakt det som framgick.

First time staying here. Booked garden room with twin beds which turned out to be too small for us to sleep in with teenagers! Hotel kindly gave us a free upgrade to sea view where twin beds were bigger. Room also had a sofa bed which gave us more options for sleeping. Good breakfast but probably wouldn’t do half board again as evening buffet didn’t offer much range for fussy eaters! SALT is across the road though for evening bite. Loved adult pool with floating cushions. Very relaxing. Would definitely return..

Very nice beach, clean rooms, helpfull staff.

I stayed over the busy new year period; but, for the price charged for the room snd my stay, the experience felt more like a factory or a busy airport than a 5* premium hotel. This was not a 5* experience. The bedroom had been cleaned before arrival but not checked - I discovered damaged curtains and the body-wash bottle was empty in the shower. It took an age for my luggage to be brought to the room. The front desk clerk at check out was mechanical in her attitude. Poor experience overall - lacked any personal touch.

Amazing hotel with a wonderful staff!

Really spacious and comfortable room. We have stayed many times as good choice of food and entertainment options on site and nearby. No need to drive anywhere once parked.

I would like to give a big thankyou to all the hard working staff members that help make this hotel run. The restaurant staff, the house keeping staff the engineering staff the maintenance staff, all such hard working people. I would like to mention one name Mr Aye Min, this young man was so helpful and kind. Everyday he would check on the room, to see if we needed anything. He did a great job cleaning our room. It's just made our stay comfortable. Now let's get to the food,,,, absolutely average, breakfast was nice, as you would find in all hotels. Lunch and dinner where Big disappointment. I stayed for 10nights and I could honestly say I only enjoyed the food for 4 nights. The chef wasn't very approachable because I saw him having a discussion with a German customer who was also complaining about the food, the chef was very rude with the way he responded. The kids club, the Waterpark I would give 10/10.

Veldig fint hotell, kjempefin strand, nok solsenger, fint basseng. Veldig godt renhold overalt. God mat, og variasjon i lunsj og middagsbuffet hver dag. Område hotellet ligger på er litt øde, ikke særlig med butikker el annet der, kun andre hotell. 10min i taxi til nærmeste kjøpesenter. Tar en time med taxi inn til Dubai og "opplevelser". All inclusive begynner ikke før kl.12, dvs man kan få vann el juice før det, men all annen drikke må man vente med. Ikke noe mat/snack utenom restaurantmåltidene, er vant fra andre all inclusive-hoteller at man kan finne plasser med noe smått å spise som toast/pizza/frukt. Kun en time med gratis is, mellom 15-16, og da saftis som finnes ved en bassengbar. Passer for late dager ved basseng/strand, men ønsker man litt butikker/opplevelser ville jeg valgt et annet sted.

Food selection is poor throughout the day. All inclusive package runs from noon to midnight only. Icing on the cake: would not let us bring a nanny during daytime unless we paid for her access (as if she would use the pool, beach, etc). Manager threatened to call police over this. I have never felt so unwelcome at any hotel.

I had taken a all inclusive plan for this stay. The drinks were not premium. Asked for a banana for the baby, one oytlet said go to another, another said go to another. Asked for ginger ale at the bar, said it is over and need to get it from another bar.

All the beers you will drink here will be hot, you can’t get an ice bucket with the beers, even by paying about 100 usd per day for each family member on the so called all inclusive package - it is all inclusive with no food options in the pool or bars. Also, people o. The bar does not know the ingredient quantities for the drinks, which means you get a different flavor on each drink. You can’t get a beer, drink or even soft drink before noon time. This means you will get up early to try to get a chair by the pool or beach and till noon you can’t have drinks for the usd 100 (the so called all inclusive). So enjoy your time on one of the strongest hot areas of the planet without drinks till noon.
