We lived in Vegas for 10 years. This hotel is very nice, clean and friendly. I have always worried that the service would not be the same if I booked through Hotels.com...It was cheaper than my Caesar's discount and everything went smoothly!!

We unknowingly got put on the pet friendly floor even though we didn’t have any pets with us. Dogs barked all night long and it made for a miserable stay. I told the front desk about the issue and all they said was “sorry about that”. I probably won’t stay at the Horseshoe ever again.

I stayed at the Horseshoe a good bit 8 years ago and before, I used to book rooms there for recruiting trips and the HR folks really enjoyed it when I did. The hotel couldn’t be beat back in those days. This time I was pretty disappointed with what I found. First off, the valet parking was shut down and we had to wrestle our luggage through the parking garage… once in the room we found that the bed was looking worn out and the mattress was caved in, limited furniture I’m the room and I remember the previous stays as having a walk I’m shower, not a deep tub to step into. The pillows were oversized and hard, I’m a side sleeper and woke up with a crick in my neck from trying to sleep with and without the pillow. Just disappointed in the room. I was looking forward to waking along the boardwalk but the hotel staff advised staying away from the area now days. Maybe I just got stuck in a rundown room being I booked through a 3rd party.

From the time I checked in was a disaster. Wasn't informed that it was a pool party at the pool. My whole point of booking the room., was to go to the pool. After getting to the room the tub was dirty, used soap and hair everywhere. To add insult to injury, that same pool party offered up a group of fighters. At midnight they decided to smoke their skunk and fight and bang the walls and doors, until someone came and intervened. I will pass on staying here in the future
