Stayable Lakeland

My tv didn't work the entire time. The room had signs of degradation and it wasn't the most comfortable stay. At times the noise of others chatting infront of my door was concerning.

It was an okay experience overall, just disappointed that I was docked $50 from my deposit even though I left the room in the same condition it started.

The location was good but the bathroom and door entrance were dirty. The check in process was too long. No breakfast available.

The toilet in the room leaked , the door didn’t shut or lock properly , there’s no trashcan in the room. Definitely wouldn’t recommend staying.

The attendant was help full, room wasn't clean in the fact there were bugs. MY WIFE HATES BUGS.

It wasn't how the picture showed at all. I was just looking for a few nights of rest while my AC unit at home was being repaired. The unit next door had way too many people coming and gowing through the night. Made we wonder if there wasn't something else going on. I think these hotels/motels should try to accommodate both family and individuals by keeping them separate.

I didn't like anything about it the ad was very deceptive! Untrustworthy business practices,not worried about any thing but making a dollar today.very very unaware of what it takes to be a real business.their practices resolve around getting your payment and making it so aggravating to get a refund that more than likely you'll just say keep it and never go back.thats what they want you to do so they make it a huge obstacle to aggravate you enough to throw your hands up

The staff was pleasant. That's about the best I can say the room condition wasn't great, people outside the room drinking in smoking area not really causing problems but had little kids running up and down the balcony past our room pretty late at night around midnight making noise, the pool was out of order, the ice machine didn't work, the sink kept filling up and not draining, a room on our floor didn't even have window glass just plastic sheets up and there where people staying in that room, it just wasn't a good atmosphere and the cleanliness left a lot to be desired.

They had no extra towels or rags or toilet paper. They staff is never there to help. Got locked out and it took time to get back in. They charged me twice and didn’t answer the phone so Expedia could give me my refund. The lady is rude and pregnant. They don’t have enough staff and need to hire more people.

The room was dirty. The kind of dirty that makes you not want to touch anything. The bed was clean and comfortable. There was no trash can in our room. The TV didn't ever work.I had paid for a room for our friend who had to have surgery and couldn't come. The desk wouldn't let me use the room for anyone else or even answer hotels.com when they called to request a refund for his room. I know it was non-refundable but have had good luck in the past when there has been circumstances beyond my control. We were there for 5 days. Nothing was done to refresh the room. No fresh towels. The beautiful pool was locked up. Our $100.00 damage fee was not refunded. I hope everyone's experience was not that horrible. The hotel could be nice with just a little customer service and soap and water.

A picture is worth a thousand words, and the images of the room my family and I were assigned just weeks ago speak volumes. Based on our experience, we departed after spending less than two hours in the room during our five-day, four-night reservation. Therefore, I recommend considering an alternative hotel that offers more value for a comparable price. This establishment lacks a welcoming atmosphere; from the initial interaction in the lobby, the so-called 'manager' does not seem inclined to engage with guests. While the staff member who assisted with check-in was kind and attentive. Yes, I had to wait to check in for my "party" to be present like waiting on a table at a restaurant. The drive to the room instilled a sense of urgency to secure the door and conceal even the pennies in my cup holder. Upon entering the room, it was evident that cleanliness was not a priority, with dirt present on the windows and walls, literally, "from the window to the walls". When considering hotel options, safety should be a priority; this establishment falls short. The absence of surveillance cameras raises concerns. Overall atmosphere is uninviting. Comfort is another critical factor, and this location fails as well. One cannot help but feel unclean, like pests lurking or something might fall from the ceiling at any moment. Value offered here is lacking. In comparison, the Howard Johnson by Wyndham is similar price point but offers better amenities, more safety, and a cleaner environment.

Checked in had no towels in room was told they didnt have clean towels and would bring them as soon as possible. Went to office the next day at 5 still no towels the girls in the office were extremely rude when i asked for towels said still none clean. Finally got towels around 8 after already being there for 24 hrs. Tried to access pool was told it was closed they were eaiti g for parts which was not disclosed upon booking or check in because would have booked elsewhere. Have attempted to reach management several times but noone answers phones at property have to text and the response has been there is no management to speak with. Bed was hard and uncomfortable had a king bed with 2 flat pillows asked if we could have 2 more pillows there were none just an all around unpleasant experience.

Room was too small nothing like the picture, I ask to get a room with more space, they did give me a new room but did not had curtains on the windows or bathroom the microwave did not work and I was going to stay for 10 days I checked out before because all of this and plus WiFi didn’t work and they told me they don’t clean the room until you check out it doesn’t matter how long your stay is

I had to check out earlier due to not feeling safe at the hotel. Too many people hanging outside the rooms smoking marihuana and drinking.

O Hotel fica em uma beira de estrada. O CHECK-IN é as 16:00. E o CHECK-OUT até 11:00. Ou seja quem reserva uma diária fica somente 19 horas. A recepção é uma confusão. Equipamentos amontoados, muita poeira Fiquei assustado com o estado do banheiro, sujo e fedendo. A atendente sem paciência para atender. Mesmo vendo que existia uma dificuldade com a língua ela falava com uma rapidez que não ajudava em nada o atendimento. Achei o atendimento muito rápido. Eram 21:00 quando foram me chamar no quarto esmurrando a porta. Antes de eu atender, um funcionário abriu a porta, e só não conseguiu entrar no quarto porque eu tinha colocado uma trava. Esse funcionário estava gritando que eu deveria ir até a recepção para finalizar o Check-in. Chegando lá a atendente disse que não tinha terminado meu check-in e precisava fazer rápido pois estava terminando seu turno. O funcionário que tentou abrir a porta do meu quarto falava de educação e de processo no check-in. Descobri que ela parou meu atendimento para atender outra pessoa. Agora a melhor parte foi a sujeira, não varrem há bastante tempo. Muito sujo. Geladeira no corredor que pela sujeira devia ter muito tempo. Água do ar condicionado escorrendo por todo lado.

First, upon arrival, you better hope the front desk agent isnt on her break. Or, your locked out for an hour. To check in, you must fill the paperwork out, go look at the room, then COME BACK to complete the check in process. Her attitude and attention to the customers before me, led me to understand that I was ‘On my own’ for this stay. I ordered 1 king bed, non smoking I got 2 beds. 1 made to sleep. 1 bed with just a comforter, and 2 pillow with NO Pillow cases. This place smelled like they took the ash trays out, and called it “non smoking.” It smelled like a meth lab. No chair No table no closet or any place to hang ANYTHING. No towel racks 1 kitchen trash can with no liner and dirty QTips at the bottom. Toilet was dirty. Shower was dirty. I went and got cleaning stuff and cleaned myself, and hit the room with a can of Fabreeze. Dogs barking. Kids screaming. Dont stay here unless you have “no other alternative” Or paying by the hour to smash hookers.

Property charges did not happen as per travelocity's policy. I was charged for the whole stay before I even checked in. Travelocity's "deposit" structure was not followed. The room was very clean. The lobby looked like an industrial facility and not like a motel lobby. The bare concrete floor was unkept, uneven and dirty. The TV in the room kept "disconnecting" from their wifi system. The MW door was stuck close and I couldn't take out my heated food. There was not maintenance staff during the weekend. So, essentially my first night was a nightmare.
