From the moment we arrived at The Sherry-Netherland, we were treated like royalty. The level of service and attention to detail was beyond exceptional—truly a five-star experience in every way. We came to celebrate our anniversary, and the staff made it incredibly special. From a warm welcome at check-in to the thoughtful touches in our room—like champagne and a handwritten note—it was clear they went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. Our room was beautifully appointed, combining old-world elegance with modern comfort. The location couldn’t have been more perfect for a romantic weekend in New York City. The Sherry-Netherland is more than a hotel—it’s an experience. If you’re looking for timeless luxury, impeccable service, and a place that feels both grand and intimate, this is it. We’re already planning our return. Thank you to everyone at The Sherry for making our anniversary so magical.

This is a luxurious hotel with impeccable and friendly service. We enjoyed the history and the great location, and we hope to return some day. Our only personal 'negative' is that although it's popular for hotels to use goose down duvets, we always remove them as they are too warm for our taste. We encourage providing a light blanket as a choice. Thanks for a wonderful vacation, one that will live long in our memories.

This is a cool historical hotel and the location right across the street from the park is fantastic. It’s a bit past its prime but the lingering grandeur from its heyday is still present here and there. Our room was very small and “interior” - which means we had a close up of the brick exterior of the building next door as the only view from our window. I gave 4 stars as the room and condition of the hotel did not quite match the price but perhaps it’s location location location. We also ordered room service for dinner and breakfast from Ciprianis and it was excellent (chicken was really great). We wouldn’t mind staying here again but would definitely try an alternative in the same location if the price was better.
