when we arrived, we found the place closed and abandoned.

Was a great place to stay on such a tight budget. The kitchen could have been nicer and kept to a better standard. Some of the toilets needed to be cleaner and with handles on them, but Jimmy a good place to stay

People shouting all night long and staff nowhere to be seen

I was told that I had to move my stuff on the 29th for them to do a bed bug cleaning because my room was infested. This was on the 27th. First of all - it is so disgusting that they could not move me sooner and kept me in a room that was infested. And second of all, I was told the date multiple times that it was the 29th. Come to find out, while I’m out exploring Cardiff on the 28th, I get a message that my expensive personal lock was not only cut but my possessions moved without my permission. As it turns out the owner had told all his staff the wrong date. The bed bug cleaning was not the 29th, it was the 28th. I was promptly moved to a cheaper room which I have yet to be refunded for and after explaining this to the owner was told that it was my fault and that he would not be reimbursing me for the lock that I paid for from home that he cut without my permission. The girl at the front desk was as friendly as she could be but the owner was abysmal and has not responded to any of my messages. I recommend no one stay here as they are scam artists that will steal your money, put you in a room you did not pay for, and break your personal belongings and then say it is your fault. The owner was rude and curt with me and is now hiding behind his phone because he does not want to face the consequences of his own actions and own up to them. Stay ANYWHERE but here.

Overall it was very good stay kinf staff and clean facility

Im Untergeschoss kein Wifi verfügbar. Die Betten/Zimmer in Raum 15 sah nicht so schön aus wie auf den Fotos. Toilettenräume müssen neu renoviert werden. Keine Spint verfügbar. Sollte einiges verbessert werden. Preis gut. Lage gut.

The worst place I’ve ever stayed, we booked a room altogether months ago and the woman said we are all going to have to be split into different hostel rooms, she said they need that room for another group of three who haven’t booked in yet.. we are young women, after a very long conversation a manager came over and said we could just have that room, everything filthy all the toilets were broken and had poo in them, looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in years, we were worried after reading review about bed bugs but they were putting new mattresses on the beds that day but left the plastic on them so all night they were crunching. I travel a lot and have stayed in a lot of hostels this is by far the worst! One good point is it’s very close to the stadium and restaurants!

The stay was perfect and the hostel is located near the Cardiff castle, the best location to stay in Cardiff

Door didn't work properly, and some random person came in in the middle of the night, my niece's sheets had what looked like dried blood on them, so she slept on the quilt from another bunk.

Except for the amazing location, this Hostel is home to shabbiness, dirt and most importantly “Bed Bugs”. Stay at your own risk

Extremely quiet even though shared rooms, great space for storing valuables under the beds

The offer stated it came with a complementary massage and that turned out to be not the case. The room smelled like some type of burnt oil and the kitchen was closed.

Was an awesome location. Clean and friendly. Had a good nights sleep
