Excellent service and great location

Hyggelig personale, old school hotel som er litt slitent. Synes ikke det fortjener 5 stjerner i dag. Jeg liker klassiske hotel og sengen, badet var bra, men tiden har gått litt fra de. Servicen i restauranten ute var ikke opp til standard og begge dager måtte vi tilkalle og be om å få bestille. Vi er på rundreise og det var også det eneste hotellet som ikke sendte mail på forhånd. Gaten inn til hotellet var stengt når vi kom pga festivalen. 5 stjerners service ville vært en mail på forhånd som fortalte dette og ikke at vi måtte ringe for å spørre om hvordan vi kom oss inn. Skulle vært totalt unødvendig.

Loved the hotel. It is in a good spot for what we needed, beautiful property with very interesting history. Loved the courtyard and the staff were amazing. Do not pay for the breakfast. It was mediocre at best and was 30 a person. Very sad about that. Other than the bad breakfast, it was wonderful. I would stay again.

Great spacious room, even by American standards. Great location in the old city which means very walkable to everything. Did not have dinner but room service snacks and breakfast were very good. Personalized service near 5 stars but at a much lower price. Staff went out of their way to personally notice you and be helpful. Great authentic ambiance befitting a traditional French luxury hotel. Overall wood stay again!

Our room was gorgeous and spacious. The bathroom was very spacious as well. We enjoyed the reservations made by the staff. The bell staff was friendly and very helpful overall. The valet parking was extremely helpful given the location. We enjoyed the experience overall including breakfast and the bar. We appreciated the AC given the heat wave at the time. We would definitely recommend this hotel given the fantastic hospitality and location.

5 starts hotel. Wifi not work, so terrible 😒!

It was a wonderful historic hotel with many excellent staff caring for our every need. The restaurant 5 star with delicious creations. Breakfast staff helpful and some excellent choices to eat before we set off for our day. Mathilde was wonderful and not only looked after our food choices but also gave us a few destination suggestions. From here it is a short trip to Pont de Gard where we swam below a Roman bridge also Gordes and Isle le Sorgue. Hope to return.

This hotel is in an excellent location, just inside the city walls. It is easy to walk to restaurants and places of interest. Our room was small, but clean and comfortable. The hotel grounds are lovely. We were joining a river cruise and our boat was an easy 10-minute walk away.

Wonderful stay. Very comfortable and quiet room. The entire hotel definitely exuded five star quality. The valet parking was very convenient and stress free.

Great suite with a full view of the Palais des Papes and a very cosy outdoor area Staff was super helpful at valet and restaurant.

We had a wonderful stay in this lovely historic hotel. The staff was amazing and our room was large and comfortable. The hotel was perfect to explore Avignon and the countryside.
