El servicio en general es muy bueno, solo les falta dar algunas especificaciones desde que llegas, a nosotras nos tocó una chica nueva en recepción y no nos dio mapa ni explicación sobre los lugares

Every thing was perfect

Would come back . The only thing was the bathrooms were a little dirty.

El hotel está muy bueno. El restaurante el Kyoto es excelente y sus meseras son demasiado atentas se preocupan de complacer cada antojo. El spa esta increíble, no se lo pueden perder ha sido el mejor de toda mi vida.Quiero agradecer a Reyna por el masaje exquisito. A Juan Carlos , Gamalier y Mercedes por tanta atención en el restaurante, son todos muy atentos y amables. Al chefs Carlos por la comida divina. Se los recomiendo. Fuimos viaje familiar y estuvo todo excelente. Buena relación calidad precio. El hotel tiene playa, el sport bar muy bueno, todo increíble . Muchas gracias 😊mi esposo cumplió años y le enviaron un detalle hermoso a la habitación. En fin este hotel se preocupa por llenar de detalles a sus huéspedes. Me hacían la habitación a diario. 🥰❤️gracias a todos y a cada uno de sus trabajadores.🙏

Great variety, but restaurant booking and shuttle tracking need work The staff here were very helpful and truly tried their best, though the language barrier made communication a bit challenging at times. A huge plus for us was having access to the other restaurants and buffets within the Barceló group, and booking activities like water sports or a slot at the tennis and racquetball courts was incredibly easy. However, the reservation system for the à la carte restaurants definitely needs improvement. They are always fully booked by the time you check in, leaving you to just hope for a last-minute cancellation. We managed to eat at Marenostrum, but the service was incredibly slow—likely due to kitchen bottlenecks rather than the waitstaff. Lastly, it would be a massive help if the resort shuttle had a real-time GPS tracker. We ended up waiting over 30 minutes not knowing when or where the shuttle would show up. In that heat, we actually could have walked to our destination sooner if we had just known the status. Overall, a nice stay with great options, but the dining and transportation logistics could be smoother!

Amazing resort with beautiful grounds, countless palm trees, and incredible wildlife. Seeing iguanas and colorful birds every day made our stay even more special. The food was excellent, with plenty of delicious options for every taste. The staff was welcoming, everything was spotless and well maintained, and we can’t wait to come back!

This resort was enormous! Something for everyone but definitely great for younger kids. Our 4 yo son had a blast. The pools were definitely a highlight. The shows were fun. The food was great. The beach was a little disappointing because of the rocks but it was fine. There was some black mold in our first floor room but they moved us to a second floor room and it was much better. Any issue was taken care of immediately (broken TV, wifi router broken). The bartenders at pool bars could smile a little more but they worked hard. I would definitely return!

The staff work extremely hard, especially the cleaning crew. The grounds are nice. The food is fine, not great but not horrible. There was always something for everyone. Overall I had a great experience

All good , except there was no lotion in room also AC control was not working

It was our second time staying at Barcelo Colonial and it turned out to be much better in many ways than the 1st time. Highly recommend this resort for families with kids.

Amazing!! Staff was so nice, helpful and attentive! I wish we would have stayed longer, will definitely go again!

La gente muy amable

friendly staff, lots of amenities, gym is decent, and views were beautiful. I am not a type of person to do all inclusive trips, but this was a great time! excellent for a group trip.

Barceló colonial had a great location. All the big amenities were very close.

Everything.. room, food, & amenities were spot on! We stayed in a premium room on the first floor of the Jaliscos section. Normally I would have preferred an upper floor, but our patio had a table and chairs as well as 2 loungers… part of scene but also private. It made for easy access to the pool, the lunch buffet, and running back to the room for anything. The kids completely enjoyed the pool and slides. We did do to the water park you pay for near the shopping and it was small, but the surfing piece was fun for the kids. It doesn’t have any food or drink, nor a convenient bathroom, so I’m glad we didn’t pay for an all day ticket. I do believe though all day allowed you to come and go. I also loved how you didn’t need to leave the resort for anything even though we typically do. The beach albeit covered in seaweed was so nice… lots of loungers and palm trees make for a nice chill spot to read and listen to the waves. I will say that I definitely wouldn’t mind returning to this resort!

The property was beautiful and well taken care of. Felt real safe for families at all times. Would definitely return in the future.

The property was wonderful and the staff was wonderful. Unfortunately, my only complaint is it’s a hour ride from the airport. But that’s no big deal. Absolutely loved our time there. The restaurants were great, even the buffet was great. And of course the pools were wonderful! We were there for a wedding and they did a bang up job making sure everything was perfect!
