The breakfast was wonderful dinner was great. The bar was fantastic and all of the staff were marvelous. We cannot wait to return.

Lovely country hotel with a peaceful, comfortable room with great kingsize bed, comfy chairs, tea/coffee making facilities and view of the garden and terrace. Good choice of breakfast. Very polite, helpful staff. Good value for money.

The building itself is lovely the location is nice, the bar was nice good selection of drinks and food in the evening was good.staff were lovely we stayed for one night just as a treat for my partners birthday however for what i actually paid for the room it was a slight disappointment the bathroom looked very dated there was a rubber bath matt on the shower floor wrapped in a ribbon that when unrolled had black mold spots all over it fair to say we did not use it we were in a small low ground level room which had frosted windows so not much natural light coming through and no veiw of the lovely garden no mini fridge for water only one small bottle each was provided however the bed was comfortable and the shower gels ect were branded i wish we were offered a better room for the price as on the day of arrival when browsing Expedia other rooms were on offer at a lower price so clearly more rooms were avaliable we could not stay for the breakfast as had plans early on so cant comment on the "free" breakfast

We had a lovely spacious room. The car parking was tight and the car park is small but we got a space. To be fair , it wasn't helped by some poor parking by other cars. We didn't have an evening meal at the hotel but enjoyed a really good breakfast. The lady who served us was very knowledgeable as one of us is coeliac. Everything on the buffet was clearly marked for allergens. We will definitely return. A nice welcome from the guy on Reception, a good night's sleep and a hearty delicious breakfast in a beautiful part of the Cotswolds.

I could not have been more comfortable. A beautiful building, great location, perfect decor, cheerful helpful staff, excellent food. Will definitely be booking again, and next time with my dog. Thank you so much.

The hotel was really lovely, but could have been even better if the tables in library room were cleared to allow guests to use them. We put cups etc from our table onto one which had not been cleared and despite staff bringing food and drinks, they ignored the mess for over an hour until another guest asked for the table to be cleared. Staff should never walk past dirty tables.

We were upgraded to the Cuckoo suite which was lovely overlooking the lit gardens. The staff were all very helpful and friendly. The Close breakfast menu was also very good with lots of choice, we had Eggs Benedict and Eggs Florentine which were very nice.

Really friendly guy on reception who was great and helped us sort out parking etc. Room was lovely, well furnished and all felt high quality. The only bit that slightly let things down was breakfast. Although the food was good (when it came), the service wasn’t. No-one gave us menus so we had to ask, then we had to ask to actually order, it was all a bit erratic and the server didn’t really seem to know what they were doing! Also, on a more minor point, the coffee was terrible! Shame really as everything else about our stay was great!

Great location however being in town the parking options were limited. V nice staff and excellent breakfast.

We had friend stay in our small flat and my wife and I stayed at the hotel. We have stayed several times and have never beed disappointed.
